First family holiday

We booked fairly last minute and decided with a young baby that all inclusive was the way to go. Usually a fan of exploring the local area we knew we would be fairly locked down to the hotel and it’s facilities.
The hotel is spotlessly clean well designed and is purpose built on the beach with great views, access customer service.
The hotel manager walks the whole hotel checking all standards are kept and the place works like a well oiled machine, it has a personal touch for such a bit place.
The restaurants were as good as you may expect a local place in external locations they are based around sushi, Asia, Italian, Greek and Mexican small but all have authentic and recognised dishes.
There is the buffet for breakfast lunch a d dinner and also small hot dog and toaster bar with a crepe and deserts area.
The various pools are beautiful All salt water and fairly shallow. Sun bed space can be a bit tight but there are several pools to chose from, you’ll need to get a towel down to secure your spot. Also the beach is really nice has beds and umbrellas with some shade, it’s a bit rocky but you can take a wander and find a nice spot. The pool bar team take orders for drinks which keep you refreshed at both pool and beach side.
The alcohol is all local and not the best but it’s ok. The wine is poor if you like wine the Rose is the best of the three. Cocktails were good.
The people and staff were all brilliant with us and it was a perfect choice for a holiday with a baby.
We hired a car on the last day it was a polo for £35 and we went for lunch outside for a change to the Ferryman which was amazing location and food.
We would go back. Good for families. We were impressed by the Hotel and staff

Great stay in Crete
Reviewed 4 days ago

Spent 4 nights in Mitsis Laguna with my wife and 6 month old son.
Overall, we had a wonderful time at the resort. The service and staff were great all around. Food was good (we ate all dinners in the speciality restaurants (Mexican, Crete and Twice at the Italian). When staying in an all inclusive resort and eating in a restaurant, I always ask myself if I would be willing to pay for dinner at this restaurant and in this case - the answer is generally yes (except for the wine which was bad).

Swimming pools are great (but salty) especially the huge one which is a bit further away from the main building. There were plenty of loungers and there was no need to wake up early and grab a good seat by the pool as there were plenty available.
We had great drinks at the pool bars (especially enjoyed the strawberry slushy) and crapes (which were awesome).

Not quite the 5 star experience, but close
Reviewed 4 days ago

Although many good features, this resort for me, falls short of 5 star experience. It was the small, but important things such as repeatedly asking for pool towels every day when they should have been delivered each evening; the shortage of sun beds meaning an early rise to ensure we all had one for the day; the waiter Service at the pool was minimal and had to go to the bar ourselves for refreshments. For all inclusive, the mini bar was stocked only with 2 beers per night?!? And finally, the booking of restaurants had to be a daily queue to book, at restricted times of 1000-1100, something I have never experienced at.a 5 star rated resort. If this was all sorted, then it would compliment the cleanliness and excellent staff service.
