wonderful week in Kouros
Reviewed 2 days ago

Right from the first day everything was perfect. I had a wonderful room with a stunning view. The Hotel is well situated, close to town and has a splendid view over the sea. The hotel offers every comfort but the big difference to other beautiful hotels is the staff. It is a young, very motivated team and they are not only friendly but at any time welcoming and dedicated to their work.
All facilities are super clean and all together it was a very enjoyable atmosphere.
Thank you all for a nice week.

Very nice and comfortable! We spent a lot of time at the pool and the bar, we loved it and the pool bar staff, they were attentive and made the best cocktails I’ve ever had! The sunset at Kouros is so beautiful! The Narcissus restaurant was delicious!

Great Hotel

Really great find on our first visit to Mykonos. Wonderful hotel, friendly staff and great service - thank you for making our stay so enjoyable. Appreciated visiting out of the main summer season as it must be extremely busy in town June to September with so many cruise ships stopping in what is a relatively small town.

Nice hotel & staff

Nice view from the hotel and it’s only 15 mins walking distance from downtown. All staff are really nice and helpful. Thanks the recommendation from Maria; so that we can enjoy the Paraga beach and the traditional Greek’s cuisine right there.

Amazing Views, Great Staff, Conveniently Located, Free Evening Shuttle to Town
Reviewed 3 weeks ago

Our experience started with a driver that the hotel had prearranged to pick us from the Ferry arrival port. It was a beginning of a very wonderful and pleasant stay. We were welcome by an amazing staff and given a tour of the property.

The property: It is quite conveniently located and 10-15 min walk to Mykonos Town depending on your walking speed. It has a beautiful pool, right next to the breakfast area w/ a lovely bar. The property is on a hill and so are the rooms and the suites and offers a breathtaking view of the ocean, the incoming and departing Ferries in the distance and from the reception area the view of the Mykonos town as well as the Windmills are gorgeous.

The room: We booked a Deluxe Suite with a Sea View. What an amazing suite, very spacious, with a private balcony, an overlooking the ocean as soon as you step out of the room into the balcony. The suite was very spacious and tastefully decorated. The bathroom and the shower areas were new, clean and well lit with stocked branded amenities.

The breakfast: We had our breakfast included and every morning we had a hearty breakfast before we ventured into the town. The breakfast was reasonable but this is one area they can do more, especially for International tourists and vegetarian choices.

Getting around: The Mykonos town is 10-15 min walk on a reasonably straight forward road. However; the road is a bit of a hazard to walk, narrow and need to watch out for cars. The hotel provides a free shuttle in the evening both ways. During our stay we've walked both ways and is not a problem unless it is too hot or gets too dark.

Food: We had some amazing Gryos in the town at places recommended by the hotel reception. Once you get into the town, there are so many choices and several restaurants on the waterfront. The entire ambiance is beautiful and even though very touristy but very pleasing. It appears that time stands still especially dining at some of these places or as as you meander through a maze of extremely narrow streets lined by various shops and small eating places.

The town and the Windmills: The town itself is a classic small Greek town, very friendly people, lots of places to eat, an almost a boardwalk type long walk to the Windmills. The experience during early morning and evening sun-set is very romantic and tranquil. As you walk through the maze of interior streets, you can check out a variety of shops.

The front desk: We found them very friendly and very helpful. Every morning either before or after breakfast we spent a lot of time chatting with the girls at the desk and getting tips and suggestions for things to do, places to see, and restaurants to eat. We did the same before our evening outings, and we came back they would always greet us and ask us for our experience and the whole approach made it very enjoyable stay.

Paradise beach: We rent a car for one day to get to Paradise beach so we can take a lot of our stuff with us and enjoy a full evening at the beach. It was a party atmosphere. We rented beach chairs with umbrella (towels and the kit from the hotel) and sipped on drinks. The drinks were expensive but it was an experience watching 20 and 30 something dancing away.

We took the outbound flight from the Airport so we also had a late check out and the driver (Alex) drop us to the Airport.

Overall, this is a pricey hotel so you need to book in advance, else you may not get the same "value for money" experience as in several other reviews.
