The Lowdown

When you think of Santorini, you picture hair-raising sunsets, uninterrupted views across the Aegean Sea, and iconic whitewashed churches with sapphire-blue domes – the village of Imerovigli is everything you could have possibly imagined. Staying at the luxurious Kasimatis Suites, you’ll be in one of Santorini’s best placed towns to revel in the unique beauty of the island’s landscape.
The family-run complex sits in a privileged position in the highest point of the caldera, boasting incredible views towards the glistening blue sea and Nea Kameni volcano. The architecture doesn’t stray from traditions of the sun-kissed Greek neighbourhood either, with its whitewashed exterior and bold lines blending in with its Cycladic surroundings. Guestrooms are in keeping with tradition too, featuring elegant Mediterranean touches and fabulous vistas.
Grab a book from the lobby library before heading to a poolside sun bed, where you can recline while soaking up the stunning panoramas spanning the Santorini caldera. Explore the village of Imerovigli, with its warren of narrow streets lined with traditional houses and small churches. Cap off a fantastic day with a simple but decadent meal of local delicacies at one of the tavernas in the town. The bustling capital of Santorini, Fira, is also just a 20-minute walk should you fancy the atmosphere of a buzzing bar for a few drinks.

Amazing view of the Aegean Sea

We select a deluxe room and the view was breathtaking. Our air conditioning went off for few hours but apart from that everything was in place. The room was in excellent condition.
Breakfast was served in the room and was amazing.

Very nice Hotel, beautiful Caldera views and friendly customer service

We spend 4 days there, early July 2017. We simply loved it. We got the honeymoon suite, next to the pool. We highly recommend it. It two floors, where the upper floor has a sofa-bed and access to a balcony with a Jacuzzi. The Caldera view is great. The service is friendly and very accommodating. We are glad we chose this hotel in Imerovigli, which is not overly busy with tourists. Always enough parking space.

Jaw dropping views

Stayed here with my brother and it was INCREDIBLE. staff was very kind and helpful all hours of the day and night. Stellar location. Each room has a private balcony overlooking the Caldera. Breakfast is brought to you every morning on the balcony to enjoy coffee pastries with a view! Location was amazing as well. Personally think this town was better that Oia!

I have very fond memories of my stay at Kasimatis Suites. Anyone who's been to Santorini knows how difficult it is to manage a decent room at a good price. I happened to get a good deal on this hotel by chance and grabbed it.

The room we were allotted was on the ground floor, opening up to the pool area. It was a HUGE room with a kitchenette, jacuzzi, a large setty and a queen sized bed. The air conditioning was extremely efficient in the humid summer and we had a very comfortable stay. They had a complimentary wine in the room for us, and breakfast was served every morning by the poolside (or in your room, its your choice!).

The views of the Caldera are fantastic and unrestricted from this hotel. Although the hotel itself feels a bit dated and should be refurbished soon. The staff was nice and was able to arrange rent-a-car for us at a short notice.

Will recommend this hotel totally.

Stayed here during our honey moon for 5 nights. Incredible view and very friendly staff. Breakfast was fine. The view from the balcony made up for it. We rented an ATV and rode up to OIA for a day which was incredible. Take a little picnic with you and you can stop at a cliff or beach on the way. Loved our stay on this side of the island!
