Perched atop an olive-tree-covered hillside on the stunning Greek island of Zakynthos, and adorned with regal wrought-iron gates, Elegance Luxury Executive Suites matches the beauty of its surroundings with some serious style of its own. Classically inspired architecture is livened up with sleek, contemporary lines at this impressive getaway. It’s hard to believe that anything could come close to the beauty of the Greek Isles, but this resort is certainly giving it a pretty good go.
As the name suggests, the facilities and accommodations at Elegance Luxury Executive Suites are palatial in size and regal in design. Natural materials, like wood and stone, are featured throughout, from the polished floorboards in the rooms to the deck surrounding the beautifully landscaped swimming pool. The extensive list of services includes private massages, beauty treatments and a welcome drink upon arrival, making this the ideal stay for those seeking peace and tranquility. And have we mentioned the resort is just minutes from those gorgeous beaches?
All of the luxurious accommodations are tastefully decorated with elegant, calming décor. Each suite is equipped with a furnished balcony for you to enjoy the sea breeze, and the cherry on top is the private indoor heated Jacuzzi in each suite – perfect for whiling the hours away.Deluxe suites offer 485 square feet of space and partial sea views, while Elegance suites boast 645 square feet and full views of the sea. Presidential suites, meanwhile, are the height of luxury, with even more room for you to enjoy and, of course, those lovely panoramic views.
The Ambrosia restaurant offers gourmet fare in a gorgeous setting, including a bold feature wall with accent wallpaper. The Blue Horizon pool bar serves lunchtime snacks al fresco.
The suites are on the peaceful east coast of the island, near Tragaki village and surrounded by lush olive groves. Here, you’ll have panoramic views down to the deep blue Ionian Sea. The nearby beaches of Bouka and Gaidaros are quiet and sandy, perfect for taking a dip and lounging on the sand. If you’re in the mood for a little more commotion, the tourist resort of Tsilivi is close by, and Zakynthos town is less than five miles away. Private or semi-private cruises and excursions are available through the helpful concierge, as well as private limo tours, diving and snorkeling activities.
How to Get There
Location is lovely but other than that very poor. They have no chef so can only have breakfast here have been assured for three days one will start but still not! Had to complain about dirty pool ( private pool and main pool) the only thing going for it is the lovely barman Stan who is marvellous. The manager is not interested and quite frankly a waste of space. Nowhere near five star... A hotel with no chef... A joke!
me and my wife stayed here in June this year, it was such a perfect place for our honeymoon staff were so nice and room was amazing as well had a great time, set out of the way but is only 5 minutes by car or quad from the shops and stuff would defiantly recommend
I didn't read the poor feedback until after arriving. Seriously wish I had. If you are thinking of booking a holiday here then take note of what poor feed back has been written. I shan't repeat it as it's all been said. I've stayed in plenty of 5* hotels and believe me, for service and ambiance this is not 5*. In fact the atmosphere is downright creepy. I've stayed in better 2* in my time. I'm baffled as to how people that have given such glowing reviews are so easily pleased. On the plus side, Zante is a beautiful island.
We have just come back after a 10 day stay at the Elegance Hotel classed as a 5* Hotel.
The good things about Hotel:-
1) It is set of the main road up a quite track with olive trees on the side of track
2) It is a fairly new hotel approx 2yrs old , modern and clean looking .
3) We was greeted by Karlos a youn friendly member of staff who took us to room.
4) The room was very clean large bed with lovely cotton sheets and duvet. The room
was split in 2 with a large jacuzzi bath . The wardrobes a good size with wooden
hangers, safe and fridge/bar. Great air con so room was always cool day & night .
Two TV's in room and a bowl of fruit. Large Balcony with 2 chairs and table with
lovely views of hill side and sea.Room always clean after cleaning staff been .
5) The pool was a nice size with a sort of a flat S type configuration one end able to
sit in read book, drink ,wonderful views of the see through olive trees.Towels
supplied and so is cold bottle water brought over by staff. Drinks and food can be
ordered at bar and brought over .
6) Staff are friendly and helpful especially the older member at breakfast who
speaks several languages. Breakfast consist of cereals, bread ,fruit, yogurts( Greek
yogurt yummy with honey) cheeses ,cold meats ,hot food bacon eggs various, fruit
juices . Can sit outside and over look the olive groves to the sea.
1) The hotel has a soulless feel to it there is no atmosphere any where in hotel.
2) Our safe did not work as you could not open the safe door as stuck.
3) Room had stained wallpaper and badly fitting skirting board .
4) Had evening meal in hotel first night was very slow ( lack of staff) and average .
Was informed of Taverna about 10min walk which was superb home cook greek
5) Lack of staff by management , at night no one at bar to serve you not staff fault .
Bar had no atmosphere very few people in there . Cocktails are 12 euro same for
non alcohol cocktails?? asked barman said he understands but that's what
management has priced it.
6) States Spa sorry to say there is not one only a sauna and showers, which is
what I get at local gym. There was no treatments was told it was closed for a week.
7) There was a lack of information in room about hotel, surrounding areas and
Spa/Treatment . Only info was bar menu for drinks.
You will need Transport to see island we had a small suziki jeep which was open top so tan on the go .Try and get into mountains and see the real Zante villages and tavernas .
Don't eat in hotel as great family taverna 10min walk, go to right rear of hotel down track 59m turn left on road and on left about 150m, great family greek food ,great views ,great food, lovely family staff members and superp value .
Good quite beach is Dafni beach , sandy shallow water great for snorkelling , sunbeds 5 euro for 2 beds. Dafni Taverna great fish and greek food.
To get there drive into Zakynthos Town as you get in there go straight ahead to sea front down narrow street ,turn right pass harbour at lights turn left over bridge carry on for 30-40mins pass tavernas on left with sea views . Turning on right signed carry on this road about 20mins then down track. Well worth the trip.
This place literally is better than what the pictures, descriptions or reviews try to articulate.
We stayed in an amazing enormous room with panoramic views of the ocean and mountains in the backdrop. The stuff of dreams! The room is the best I have ever stayed in of any hotel in the world. Immaculately presented, clean, and kept clean at our own convenience as the cleaners were flexible to clean much later in the day so we could enjoy the room and know it would be presented professionally upon our return from our nightly outings.
Greeted with a bowl of fruit, drinks and chocolate cake (which my lady happily gobbled all up).
The jacuzzi in the room was fantastic. Large and could arguable accommodate 3 adults. The pool / poolside area amazing. The type you see in brochures. We had complimentary room service including breakfast promptly delivered to our room at your convenience. This extended to any part of the hotel grounds were food and requests could be ordered to wherever you were.
Staff were friendly, spoke good English and really helped us with taxis getting around.
Breakfast was good, although maybe lacking in variety. But it was fine for what you really need.
We'd happily go back repeatedly as I can't imagine finding a place that is better - especially considering how much it cost!
