Great views and service but probably not worth the money
Reviewed 2 weeks ago

My wife, baby and I have just returned from a stay at Dreams and we were looking forward to relaxing in our private pool and taking in the viewsand sunset with our one year old.

However, we have been left rather disappointed as the pool was freezing cold. Another review mentions this also. We raised it with management but were told that it is mentioned when we book, but we were not informed of this. Having said this, maybe I should have asked or made sure, but it was definitely a disappointment for us.

There is a hot tub also which we made use of but that is set back from the edge and so cannot take in the sunset from there. Other suites have hot tubs near the edge but ours (Orfeas) did not. Again I was told that this is made clear when booking but it is not. If it was I wouldn't have booked that particular suite.

These were my main gripes, but the service and location were excellent. The reception staff were very helpful, booking taxis, ordering food from outside, booking restaurants. They had a friendly demenour and were very welcoming so no issues with the staff at all.

Breakfast is served to your suite or to a communal area outside which had better views than our suite and where we took breakfast a few times.

All in all it is a nice property in a good location with several plus points but I don't think it was worth the money I paid, mainly because we couldn't use the pool and take in the sunset from there, which is the main thing we wanted to do.

Not a dream

Beautiful view, unfortunately not worth the amount of money that you pay for it. Staff are always checking on you through the cameras, the spa was boiling hot and very small, we couldn’t get in, also the temperature of the water in the pool was freezing which leaves you with no options. Every day at 6am personnel cleans the outside area, pool, spa and wakes you up with all the noise they make. At soon as you left the premises every single time they get into your room to check it. Bed was comfy thou.

So romantic and absolutely amazing!

Amazing location! Beautiful breathtaking views! Perfect for couples! Not too great for 3 people as there was not much space for an extra sunbed but it was an amazing experience with very friendly and helpful staff!

Honeymooning in Greece
Reviewed 2 months ago

We stayed here for 2 nights in June, and it is one of the best rooms and hotels we have and will ever stay in! We stayed in the Orfeas suite. I believe each room has their own pool but in different parts of the suite. Ours was an infinity pool overlooking the caldera - absolutely stunning views. We had 2 lounge chairs that were very comfortable. We spent the most time at this hotel more than any other because we had everything we needed - pool, hot tub, delicious breakfast, lounge chairs, and gorgeous views. The staff were very hospitable, serving our breakfast and getting our transportation in order. The pool felt so good considering how hot it was throughout the day. We had the breakfast 2 mornings. There are probably 100 options of food and drinks. We got espresso, frappes, champagne, and juice every morning. The price doesn't matter which or how many options you choose. We were on our honeymoon, and they surprised us with a bottle of champagne right when we got there! It was such a sweet addition. We hung out in the hot tub at night which was really nice and relaxing after long days doing touristy things. You are very close to dozens of amazing restaurants and bars.
I would recommend this hotel over and over again and maybe on our 20 year reunion we can come back! Thank you for an unforgettable stay!

Stunning Gem / Breathtaking View

We just returned from 4 days at Dreams. Words cannot express how stunning the view was. We are a family of 4 and stayed at the Foivos Suite. I did not want to leave. It was a 2 bedroom/2 full bathroom cave room apartment. It was huge with plenty of natural light. This small (only 6 suites) hotel is just beautiful and the staff/services were superb. It’s location is ideal as it’s right in between both Thira and Imerovigli. Both are just short walking distances. Where the hotel is located it provides plenty of privacy where many hotels we saw did not. They helped arrange a rental car onsite and a day cruise which I highly recommend. They provided daily complimentary breakfast of our choice which was beautifully set up on our huge terrace overlooking the caldera. The infinity pool was much bigger and deeper than I expected and our children had a blast swimming. The hot tub is also set at a perfect temperature. I’m so glad we decided on this gem of a hotel. I spent hours researching prior to booking. We had such an incredible Santorini experience. If I ever have the opportunity to return I will definitely stay here again. Make sure you book way in advance as the book up very early. We booked in January for August.
