The Lowdown

If staying at a luxurious getaway on a gorgeous Greek island sounds like something you’d be interested in – perhaps somewhere relaxing and peaceful, with opulent interiors, amazing swimming pools, direct sea views and an exclusive beachfront location – then the five-star, TripAdvisor Travelers’ Choice Award-winning Atrium Prestige Thalasso Spa Resort may be just what you’re looking for.
Located near the beautiful village of Lachania, on the southeastern coast of Rhodes, the hotel has the kind of rooms and facilities that you can only find at a five-star. The full-service spa is just the start – there are also six fantastic restaurants, offering a wide variety of international foods, three bars, heated indoor pools and two outdoor pools. Then, of course, there’s that unrivalled beachfront location, so you know nothing will come between you and those sunset views.

Rooms

The gorgeous rooms here feature elegant, understated décor, a soothing white color palette and plenty of room to stretch out in. The comfortable and contemporary interiors are offset by the gorgeous traditional architecture of the buildings, providing the perfect combination for a stay in the Greek Isles. Each Deluxe rooms provides 410 square feet of space and features a furnished balcony or terrace with uncompromising sea views. Alternatively, go with the private-pool option to enjoy a secluded veranda, complete with parasols and a 180-square-foot pool.

With the exception of the main restaurant, all restaurants are on an à la carte basis. Please note that gentlemen are required to wear long trousers when dining in all restaurants at the resort.

Spa

The AnaNeosis Thalasso Spa is an incredibly luxurious full-service spa and the only dedicated thalasso spa center on the island of Rhodes. This spa really is something special – it’s large and fabulously designed, with ornate mosaic tiles and ceiling lights over the indoor pools that give the effect of a starry sky.The spa boasts luxe treatments rooms, a fitness center and a heated indoor pool with underwater jets and hydro-massage seats. You’ll also find a hammam, a sauna, a hair and beauty salon and an impressive list of treatments.

Location

With a peaceful location on the southeastern coast of Rhodes, the hotel offers plenty of peace and quiet without being too far from civilization. The quaint village of Lachania is just a few minutes away, and the picturesque town of Lindos, with its authentic Greek architecture, is 30 minutes away by car. You’re also in the same region as the historic Asklipio Castle, Pefkos Beach and Prassonissi Beach. An excellent hotel, our second visit. Good food, extremely friendly staff. Joanna on ice cream, Ivan and Kostas on reception, Katrina, the manager, Maria in the restaurant, all made our stay memorable. Thank you

This year was our 5th visit to this wonderful hotel. Each time we visit it feels like we have arrived to stay with close friends rather than in an impersonal hotel. The hotel is of course a wonderful complex with everything you could possible need for a perfectly relaxing holiday. Everything is immaculate, the rooms, restaurants, public spaces, the pools, beach and gardens. Even at the end of the season everything is as fresh and cared for as if the season has just begun.

I am sure there are lots of great hotels in Rhodes but as far as we are concerned they would all be missing a very very important ingredient…. THE STAFF. These wonderful ladies and gentlemen work so hard to make sure every guest has the most amazing holiday.

The grounds-people start early each morning to make the beach and gardens sparkle so guests are greeted with perfection as they rise and head for breakfast.
Housekeeping works all through the day tending bedrooms and public spaces, even through to the evening when rooms are turned down and a little chocolate treat is left on your pillow.

Chefs and waiting staff are just wonderful and nothing is too much trouble. They are always willing to have a chat and offer suggestions of places to visit on the island while at the same time keeping up with their duties so efficiently.

Members of the reception team are so welcoming and go out of their way to assist with any request you may have, and if they are unable to help they will find someone who can.

There are so many wonderful people working here it is hard to praise them all individually but there are some we have come to know very well and their warmth and friendliness is why we keep returning. The amazing Voula and Nikos at the pool bar who make the most delicious cocktails and with whom we have spent so many fun filled hours in the evenings. They are such a great team, so efficient and hard working with a super sense of fun which adds to guests’ enjoyment of their holiday. Even when they are rushed off their feet they still make time to interact with guests and make them feel like very special friends.

Then there is the wonderful Maria in the main restaurant who always remembers just how you like your morning tea or coffee, she has such a fun sense of humour that breakfast time with her is the perfect start to the day. In the pool restaurant there is the lovely Janis who could win an Olympic medal for his welcoming smile, if there was such a category. He is always so friendly and polite, a real gentleman.

And finally there is Katerina the Operations Manager. I have never met a member of any hotel management team who is such an asset to their hotel. She is everywhere, doing everything, while interacting with guests in such a warm friendly manner. She always makes time to talk and listen to guests and never makes them feel she has other things she should be doing, even though she has. She works incredibly long hours and you can see no matter where she is or what she is doing, she is observing both guests and staff to make sure everything is working perfectly, along with checking everything around the hotel is just so.

So if you are looking for a perfect relaxing holiday in beautiful surroundings with the most amazing staff and service this is the hotel for you.

The Atrium Prestige is really a gem! The personnel - super polite and courteous. The hotel is quiet and peaceful. It is really a great spot to forget about everything! Just relax, enjoy the tranquil atmosphere. Beautiful pools & rooms. The sea is gorgeous.

Special thanks to both Chefs (they really do a great job), especially to Chef Mr. Giannis, to Katerina (Operations Manager) and Alexandra Sadovik.
