We stayed on Sunborn for two nights for our wedding in Gibraltar. Could not have been better. We arrived at approximately 1130 to drop our bags ahead of check in time. Concierge advised us our room was ready at that time and we could check right in. The Aircon was not functioning properly in our room. I believe it may have been typical of European hotels that they switch over to heat at a certain date and then the cooling system doesn’t really function. Because of this issue the Concierge upgraded us to a suite with a huge terrace overlooking the stern of the ship. Absolutely unnecessary, but this shows how much they want to satisfy their clients. Everyone always had a smile on their faces for the hotel visitors and guests. We hope to visit Gibraltar again I the future and we will definitely stay onboard the Sunborn again.
