How to Get There
Stayed for one night, easy to find from the Eurostar terminal, about a 15 min walk. The staff were very pleasant. Checked in easy to the room, which was compact but well presented. A very comfy bed. The room was so hot but we just switched the heating off. Very quiet and we both had a lovely nights sleep. Would def go back
Me and 2 of my sister's took our mum away for a Christmas market/Shopping trip. We went Friday morning to Sunday afternoon. The hotel is a short walk away but due to heavy rain we got a cab which cost 9 euros which was great. Our room was clean with good views of the big wheel. Good breakfast available for a charge but worth it as set us up for the day. Will be going back perhaps nextvyear.
The hotel is in a good location a few blocks from the main square. Reasonably priced. Wasn’t that impressed with the room though, mainly the bathroom. Ours had a lot of water damage on the walls and the shower leaked from somewhere at the bottom causing water all over the bathroom floor. Also wasn’t a fan of the combo shower gel + shampoo. Rooms were typically European and tiny.
My friend had her card charged over 400 euro's after returning to the UK and the hotel did NOTHING to sort this out. In fact the director of the hotel blamed my friends bank!!
Turns out the idiots on the reception couldn't process the payments to the correct cards!!
she will now seek legal action for the stress and upset this has caused
Paid in cash at departure, have receipt to prove it and yet £400 taken from my account using the information taken at check in! Hotel admits it is an error yet over a week later, numerous telephone calls and emails and still no refund. Latest update is it's my banks fault.....I mean seriously???
can't believe nobody in this entire organisation can sort this out and instead keep trying to make excuses and blame others
