How to Get There
You can’t argue about the location which is exceptional. However the service and the rooms left something to be desired. We had a standard room facing the street. The room was tiny and difficult to maneuver with luggage for two people. The bathroom had no shelf space and simply can’t accommodate large people. The noise level from the street was surprisingly loud all night long and was exacerbated by having to keep the windows open because on May 1st the temperature control system had not been activated. The bedding was exceptionally comfortable. I had the feeling during my one night stay that the only quests that matter are the ones spending significant sums to do spa treatments and eat in the one star Michelin restaurant.
Nice interiors and nice rooms. Very good location but the service was a bit of let down. One of the receptionist was very pretentious and some of the restaurant staff were simply unhelpful and inattentive. Not what you would expect from this type of hotel.
We enjoyed our stay in this completely renovated but classic hotel, which is in a beautiful location right next to the beach. The staff were very helpful, especially Patrick who was a big help to us! The spa massage treatments, steam room and sea water pool were a nice touch.
Great team, very professional starting from the reception to the concierge. Fantastic place, great view to the Ocean, close by the center of Saint Jean de Luz. Restaurant very good and surprising. Loved the place as soon as we step in.
My first time to st Jean de luz and it won’t be my last. This hotel is fantastic, the staff are amazing, the food sublime and the spa perfect. I was bought this ‘cure’ for 5 days by my son and it has certainly fulfilled my expectations and more!
