In the romantic area of Chantilly is a picture-perfect early 19th century château set amidst verdant forests. The elegant Château de la Tour is in the Gouvieux area and is an oasis of tranquility. To really take in the lush area, stroll through meandering pathways and trails or opt for a scenic game of golf at one of the many nearby courses.
When you’re at the hotel, spend some well-deserved time in the heated outdoor pool or have a match at the tennis courts. At the Les Bois Gourmands Restaurant, you can sample a range of traditional dishes, such as scallops in dry vermouth near the roaring fireplace or along the lovely outdoor terrace overlooking the park. In addition, there are a number of tranquility zones where you can listen to bird song or read in the shade of hundred-year-old trees.
How to Get There
The property is very beautiful, large gardens, excellent view terraces, spacious rooms especially those in the main building with garden view. Bathroom quite small but functional. Tastefully decorated and clean.
There is a pool and a tennis court, mountain bikes are available to hire.
Breakfast and dinner of very good quality. Especially if the weather is nice, breakfast on the terrace overlooking the gardens is excellent.
There isn't a lift. It was very calm when we visited as there was no wedding or other reception.
Ideal for a calm relaxing break
The staff is polite and helpful
If you are looking for an off the tourist path for the perfect destination wedding in a quaint small French town. Look no further than this small but beautiful Castle.
It's gorgeous grounds for perfect outdoor wedding. A staff that is their only job is to please and make every dream a reality.
Beautiful rooms even tho quaint for the century are able to incorporate modern convenient amenities.
Even if this is just a getaway for peaceful moments to experience the non touristy scenes I believe that you will gain the knowledge in what France is all about and why so many
want to visit France and even more return time and time again.
The staff is exceptional. Food amazing with the best Chef ever.
So book your stay and see for yourself this amazing castle.

You will feel welcome..
They are getting ready now for Valentine's with special rates and dinners....
We stayed here for 2 nights in June. Ideal spot for sight seeing in Chantilly or as others have said breaking a journey through France on the way to or from the eurotunnel / ferry
Here's the good bits: lovely setting with large gardens to walk in, all round the buildings. Pool looked inviting, breakfast was fine.Nice old fashioned decor in the public areas.
Less good: There was a wedding reception going on whilst we were there which may have affected our room allocation & impression of the Chateau as we felt ignored! On arrival there was no porter to take our luggage to our room (2 flights of stairs and no lift), room was quite tiny (for the price) and facilities limited. Our room hadn't been cleaned on our second day when we came in from sightseeing at 4pm and had to ask for it to be serviced. Nothing terrible but a few niggles. We didnt eat here in the evening and went into Chantilly (5-10 min drive).
This was our third stay at this Chateau which we have used as a stopover on our way back to the ferry. It is nice to have a little luxury on your way home! The building and grounds are beautiful, with a swimming pool and tennis court. Our room overlooked the gardens and was tastefully decorated. We had a great meal in the restaurant and the staff were very friendly & helpful. Breakfast was served in the bar area which was a bit cramped - it would have been ok if the weather had been warm enough fro us to sit outside.,
We spent an overnight in this hotel outside Chantilly. First we enjoyed drinks in the extensive gardens. Then we borrowed mountain bikes from the hotel and cycled to the breath-taking Château de Chantilly. Our room was just perfect: huge French windows opened onto a balcony with geraniums, overlooking the park and forest. The kingsize bed was extremely comfortable and the bed linen, a pleasure. The period furniture was tasteful and the room had an elegant parquet floor. The atmosphere in the hotel is quiet and relaxed. Staff are professional and discrete. Our meal in the restaurant was wonderful: classical and modern French cuisine, excellent quality products, delicate and delicious combinations, beautiful setting and impeccable knowledgable service. This meal was amongst the best culinary experiences I have enjoyed. After vacating our room at 11 the following day, we were invited to continue to use the facilities until our taxi arrived at 2. I was only sorry to have run out of enough time to try out the swimming pool. I heartily recommend this idyllic hotel. Your stay here will be memorable.
