Azia Resort & Spa offers a high degree of comfort, with a calming design aesthetic and stunning views over the Mediterranean. Composed of three separate properties, it’s set within lush tropical gardens that provide fresh produce to the resort’s restaurants. It offers barefoot living and an earthy and artistic décor of marble, silk, murano glass, gold leaf and wood lattice work, with nods to Cyprus’ checkered history of Greek, Venetian and Arab influence.
The Asphodel Spa has won plaudits for its fantastic range of treatments, luxurious products and soothing open-air environs. Here, you’ll also have the use of an indoor and outdoor freshwater pool, tennis courts and gym. If you’re a golf-lover, you’ll enjoy the close proximity of three 18-hole courses, and there’s a diverse array of watersports available locally, including scuba diving, windsurfing and water skiing. Just three miles from the center of Paphos, this is a great base for exploring a historic city, rich in archaeological sites, beautiful, sandy beaches and tasty little tavernas.
How to Get There
We have been here for a week and leave tomorrow, we were upgraded to a premium room which was spacious and had a lovely sea view, wine and fruit was very nice, food was hit and miss in the main restaurant more like a canteen, the other restaurants were closed or impossible to get a table unfortunately, we loved the pool and grounds, getting served in the Cava bar was difficult as they seemed to be short staffed, and we only found out about the premium lounge on our last day, it would have been nice to have known about it, another guest told us that we could have had complimentary drinks at 6 pm!, also no TUI rep at our Hotel, which was poor for an A La Carte.
Lovely holiday in a nice quiet location with great hotel grounds for relaxing by the pool. Rooms were very rustic, bathroom was lovely apart from the mould on the tiles in the shower area which needs attention. Food on the whole was good, could have been warmer sometimes, especially enjoyed my meals in the Italian for a change. All inclusive drinks were very good, especially the cocktails served around the pool. Entertainment was varied, good magician/illusionist one night. Chico worked hard to get everyone involved. A little understaffed but the lady in the buffet was very good, Konstantine in the Cava Bar was good and the lady in the customer services area very helpful when I was unwell one night. All in all a good place to stay with a bus stop just outside taking you to Paphos Harbour one way and Coral beach the other. Bus 615, cross over the road to go to Paphos and down to the left. The weather definitely made the stay as did the plentiful outdoor seating for meals which was lovely.
Was a very nice stay. We went off season so it was lovely and peaceful, has a beautiful pool and it overlooks a beach. They had activities throughout the day - archery was fun to try - and live music every night in one of the bars.
