How to Get There
Affordable, comfortable, and comes with a full kitchen. The location is a bit west of the city. The 65 and H91 buses run in front and side of the hotel. There are wonderful restaurants within a short distance
After calling ahead to see if we could check in early we were advised this is not somethig they could guarantee but would see what they could do. After finally working out how to get in to the car park about 1.30 although the the room wasn't ready the lovely reception staff offered to look after our bags and take them up when it was but we decided to wait as wanted to freshen up before going out. 3.10 we went back to reception who advised the room was still not ready but after looking, swapped us in to a different room that was ready and not in use, could this have been done earlier?
The studio apartment was lovely, although the blind was broken (couldn't roll open) the balcony is a lovely touch.
Breakfast was a disappointing to say the least, dry, warm (not hot) scrambled egg, mushy hash brown and ran out of bacon by 10 (even though serving till 11) no beans, sausage, mushrooms or tomatoes. There was a small selection of fruit, cereals and pastries but like to treat myself on a weekend away. The place gave off a vibe it was newly open and not 100% finished. It has the potential to be great but for now if I stayed again I would save my money on the breakfast and cook it myself in my room!
This is our third time staying here and nothing we can find to fault the apartment. It's clean, spacious, conveniently located to transport links and also a Sainsbury's if you fancy to cook rather than eating out. Guest services team do their best to assist you . We have never tried their breakfast as prefer to cook our own, however the selection looks more than reasonable.
We stayed for two nights here just to test it out before we consider staying for longer.
The staff are friendly, check in/out was painless. The breakfast is a small buffet but perfectly adequate.
There is a small gym in the basement and laudry facilities with two washing machines and two dryers (we didn't use these but assumed they work).
The rooms are an excellent size, we stayed in the 1 bedroom apartment, it had an entrance hall leading to the bathroom with a heated towel rail and shower over the bath.
Opposite the bathroom is the lounge/kitchen which had an oven, fridge, microwave, toaster, kettle, dishwasher and utensils. The utensils for cooking only consisted of a wooden spoon, we had to request a spatula for flipping eggs.
The lounge/kitchen opened into an enclosed balcony with excellent views of west London.
The bedroom had a king sized bed, with a door that opens to the balcony.
We had a good nights sleep, even with the neighbours having a dog we couldn't hear it when in the bedroom.
The TV signal for the entire building went out but was fixed promptly, the TVs have usable HDMI ports so we could hook our chromecast up.
The wifi in the lobby/breakfast area is excellent, I registered speeds of 100Mbps, however if you leave the lobby it drops dramatically, on the 3rd floor I registered 5Mbps. It was still adequate to stream video however it would be good if this could be looked into.
There's a Sainsbury's local and bus stop just outside, Brentford rail station is under 10 minutes walk away and I would suggest this as the most comfortable way to reach central London.
All in all a pleasent stay and we'd stay here again.
This is an apartment hotel - not a hotel.....
With that - well appointed apartments with perfect lay-out. Although I had to switch room - were given a small double studio on 1st floor (101) with broken fan/heater.
But the two girls in the reception sincerely went out of their way to find another Studio for me (706). Thx again for this.
Other than this - even as you are located near a double laned road as well as an elevated road - no road noise at all..... AND I am a reslly light sleeper - I had a perfect sleep.
Only thing - two Nespresso capsules for a stay - I know it is an apt hotel - but for shorter stays - I do recommend more than that (I brought my own tube - but recon that more is necessary).
Others from that - perfect. Thx!
