Nice Hotel, with a bit of a trip to underground.
Reviewed 7 days ago

Firstly, there's a lot to like. Unusual looking hotel with airy lobby. A "professional" reception team but not overly friendly that are helpful. The rooms are of good size and and finished very well. Beds are comfy as are pillows. Bluetooth radio and concierge TV are nice touches too. I dropped a star based on the bathroom. At first glance it looks chic, spacious and that's where the problem lies, the hotel went for look instead of practicality. Trying to shave in the bathroom was a bit of a challenge due to poor lighting but you'll get there in the end. Shelving space for toiletries is non existent at shower or basin so you are bending down to grab essentials all the time. If you have a bad back, this would not be ideal. The hotel bar/restaurant is limited and expensive so beware. It's a bit of a trip to the underground so would not recommend for elder folk. Having said all that we had a great time in this hotel with a Sainsbury next door so your covered if you want to have a drink in the room before you head out on the tiles. Would definitely recommend, just weigh up pros and cons...

Conveniently Stylish
Reviewed 2 weeks ago

Stayed for 3 days and was impressed with the hotel amenities and location. The rooms are a good size with basic kitchen facilities. There’s no oven and the utensils are pretty limited, but there’s lots of uber eats options around and the Sainsbury’s opposite is well stocked. The only downside was the reception service, which was incomprehensible. Communicating in English was very difficult, and we had numerous problems with the room arrangements across our party, all created by less than diligent service. Perfect hotel, so long as you don’t deviate from the check-in check-out standard script.

Highly recommend!

We stayed here as we were visiting Twickenham. When we have visited before we stayed in the lovely Novotel hotel next door and always thought the Urban Villa Apartments looked amazing. As soon as we walked in the staff at the welcome desk were very friendly and smiley and anytime we walked in and out of the building there were staff there to help with anything we needed. The rooms were absolutely spotless and you were provided with everything you needed for the cooking facilities. The indoor balcony provided a spectacular view but we also had a blind over the balcony door so make the room dark so we could get a very peaceful sleep in the comfy bed. Would highly recommend to anyone wanting to stay in the area.

Beautiful 😊

We stayed here for two nights over the bank holiday weekend. All I can say was it was utterly brilliant! Close to London but away from all the hussle and bussle. We arrived to hear that we had a room upgrade which was an added bonus! The apartment was beautiful, clean, modern and just a cosy and inviting place to stay! The staff were friendly and helpful. Such a beautiful place and we will definitely be staying again!
