After coming in late I decided to shower, after doing so it flooded my whole bathroom with standing water and then soaked the carpet in the doorway. After ringing reception they moved me to the room next door where the air con was broken and stuck on full heat making it unbearable to sleep. This back and forth was frustrating especially considering it was well past midnight.

They gave me 20% off but I still wasn't particularly happy spending upwards of £90 for this experience. The customer service email is broken and bounces back immediately and when I rang the manager a few days later he promised a response which never ended up coming through. I've grown sick and tired of chasing them and even when speaking to them they don't seem to really care, whether in person or over the phone. I would not recommend this hotel, better off in a Travelodge or budget hotel where they do the basics right at least.

We chose this hotel through hotels.com. Excellent value. Perfect location for us. Close to Kensington gardens and Hyde Park, which, one evening, we had an enjoyable walk through, to get the tube to central London. Queensway tube station is only a five minute walk away, very convenient. Our room was clean and well equipped. Toiletries were refreshed each day. All staff were very friendly and helpful. The breakfast was reasonably priced and was superb. Lots of choice, and fresh, tasty food. We will definitely return.

A potentially bad experience that was handled very well by the Duty Manager so that we will use the hotel again as opposed to when we went to sleep thinking we will not come here again!!!Look forward to our next visit to ensure these bad experiences were only a one off!!!!
