The tower hotel was nice and in a good location. Poor and unfriendly service in the attached restaurant. Lots of hotels in London, so not sure I would pick the tower again in the future. Shame that the staffs unfriendly nature in the restaurant spoiled a great holiday.

Employees were just superb

My wife and I arrived at the Tower Hotel in London about 8:30 AM London time after an overnight flight from the US. We were bleary-eyed and in need of rest! We were met at the door by concierge / porter personnel, who were some of the friendliest people one can imagine! Of course at 9:00 AM there were no rooms ready for check-in, so these people took our luggage quickly and efficiently to their storage room.

We took a short walk to the nearby Tower of London, where we purchased a ticket to see that attraction. Around noon 11:00 AM we had had our fill, since we were so tired, so we trudged back to the Tower Hotel. The desk clerk found us a very nice room, and we were able to check in quite early! This gave us the opportunity to rest. A very short time after we got into our room, a porter delivered out bags.

I must say I was incredibly pleased at the courtesy, friendliness, and efficiency of every employee with whom I had contact.

Our room was nice. We had been warned up front to expect the room to have two single beds. That was no problem, as we were so very tired.

The hotel serves a complimentary breakfast that is the best complimentary breakfast I have every encountered. There is a hot food buffet with baked beans, sausage links, hash browns, stewed tomatoes, and boiled, scrambled, and fried eggs. We also ate dinner in the hotel with our tour group and found that to be quite good as well.

I can heartily recommend the Tower Hotel as a great place to stay in London!
