There’s no better way to get under the skin of a big city’s personality than to live like a local, immersed in the culture. Supercity’s newest aparthotel complex, the stylish Rosebery, gives the freedom and flexibility to do just that in the midst of London’s finest sights.
Not only are its stylish and sophisticated suites designed and furnished to the highest specifications – with a sleek fitted kitchen, sunny contemporary living space and cosy (yet achingly trendy) bedrooms – there’s a host of personalised touches that go a long way to making this restored Victorian Red Brick feel like home – from the use of a local ‘Zipcar’ to whizz around town in, to 24/7 reception and weekly maid service. There’s also a fully-equipped fitness centre and Printworks Kitchen, which serves breakfast and lunch from Monday to Friday. On Wednesday to Friday, it’s the perfect spot to enjoy a glass of wine and a sharing board or snacks in the evening.
The Rosebery’s fabulous suites are all fully furnished, serviced apartments that max out on designer details and luxurious extras alike. They’re awash with light, which is only heightened by the white walls, modular mushroom kitchen units and the pale flooring. Fully-fitted kitchens come complete with cutlery, crockery, glassware, a Nespresso coffee machine, oven / microwave, hob, fridge, kettle, toaster and dishwasher. Please note that all apartment types sleep two people only.
The Rosebery is brilliantly placed, near the major rail hubs of Euston, King’s Cross and St Pancras for the Eurostar. Many of the capital’s most iconic landmarks and attractions are within walking distance of just a short tube ride away, including St Paul’s Cathedral, Tate Modern, The British Museum, The British Library, the shopping utopias of Oxford Street and Selfridges, vibrant Covent Garden, and the leafy greenery of Regents Park.
How to Get There
Stayed in the two bedroom city view apartment which was modern, bright, clean, well equipped with the most comfortable of beds and a great view. All the staff were helpful, happy and really made us feel welcome.Plenty of nice restaurants in the vicinity and a bus stop right outside.
Very nice apartment, clean and spacious room. The staffs, especially Ana and John are amazing. They are very polite, friendly and helpful. Good location as it just take ~15 minutes walk to get to St. Pancras / King Cross station. Love this place.
Very nice aparthotel, with excellent service, clean and spacious rooms and what‘s the best: with perfect location to explore downtown and the neighborhoods where you can have great breakfast and dinner with real Italian style.
Just 3 minutes walk from my office, I couldn't ask for anything better. I like the building, the apartment and the staff. The building has been well renovated and is a great location: few minutes from St. Pancras and Farringdon Station; quick walk to Exmouth Market and Leather Lane, nice local restaurants. Bus 19 and 38 takes to the Soho and Piccadilly in 20'. The apartment is great. Awesome view, spacious, well heated, nice modern forniture, well equipped kitchen and large bathroom. The staff is amazing: Teodora (reservations) is always able to adjust my calendar - Salvo (house manager) is a darling, professional and patient problem solver, he makes you home. Anna (desk) is unique, always smiling and helpful. Maria (desk) as well is nice and efficient. John (night desk) is a genuine nice guy. This is most definitively my home in London!
I had a very enjoyable 5 night stay at the Rosebery and here's why...
Location: Easy access to central London while being able to explore neighborhoods off the tourist path. In less than a 5 minute walk you have a selection of amazing restaurants and cafes at Exmouth Market. If you prefer to use the nicely equipped kitchen in your apartment, a Coop grocery store is within 5 minutes walk and Tesco, Sainsbury Local, and Waitrose are a slightly longer walk. Busses ran frequently just outside the hotel, and I could walk (briskly) to the Chancery Lane tube station in about 7 minutes.
The apartment: I had a studio apartment that was perfect for me as a solo traveler. It was thoughtfully designed, tastefully decorated, and well equipped. Operating the microwave oven (it's actually a combination microwave with regular oven) was a mystery to me, but I asked for help from the front desk and within minutes, the maintenance guy was up to give me a demo. I didn't use the dishwasher or washer/dryer but appreciated having the option to do so. Nespresso maker and coffee pods - yum, thank you!! Milk was provided for me in the fridge when I arrived - a thoughtful touch after a long travel day. The shower had great water pressure and plenty of hot water; the bathroom itself is small, and the door won't stay open on its own (my preference for ventilation) but I wedged it open with a folded newspaper. The room was missing a hair dryer, but the staff promptly gave me a one when I enquired. Bed was very comfortable and I slept well. There was NO noise from other apartments and the street noise was unobtrusive. There is a gym in the basement - small but equipped with a rowing machine, treadmill, bike, and weights.
Staff: I was greeted warmly every time I entered or exited the apartment lobby. Ana was unfailingly friendly, kind, and helpful - thank you! She made me feel right at home.
