How to Get There
It had been five years since we had visited London and stayed at The Rembrandt. Our room was spotless. The bed was spacious and very comfortable. The seating area was appreciated. All exactly as before. However, this time we had a modern bathroom with a walk-in shower - so good. The dining area had been completely remodeled and was fabulous. The included breakfast had everything anyone could want to start the day. Of course, the hotel is still in the greatest position. We once again recommend The Rembrandt to all who visit London.
Well located close to South Ken tube station.
Literally across the road to the Victoria and Albert museum.
Good place to stay but not to eat
Some staff very friendly and helpful others slow and inefficient.
A disappointing stay. A room which wreaked of urine ! A stale smelly shower curtain, I didn’t want my feet to touch any area of the floor, broken tiles in bathroom and traces of mould and stains on bathroom ceiling, an upgrade was given on request which incurred cost. Service in the bar area was shocking of which several guests before me also had cause for complaint. Tired, dirty hotel. I appreciate everyone has a different experience and perceptive on life this unfortunately was mine and I am trying to think of something positive to write ... it’s location for the V and A !
We recently stayed overnight & had an event at the hotel. The staff are excellent and more than helpful to accomodate anything you require. The quality of the main restaurant, service and decor can not be faulted. All of our guests shared their positive experiences of staying at the hotel and the rooms provided. The location can not be beaten for convenience for central London and there are handy tablets provided in each room which are free to use throughout your stay.
We would definitely recommend and stay again.
We booked this hotel because of the close position to the roll Albert Hall. The breakfast on Sunday morning was fabulous.
We had a quiet room at the rear of the hotel looking onto a residential mews area so a lovely night sleep. The room was equipped beautifully and very well presented. I would recommend this to any tourist or individual looking for an overnight stay in London
