All you need from a hotel

This hotel is in a great location for food and theatre . The staff are willing to please and keen to make sure all is well with your room. I was impressed with their approach to their jobs and a complementary glass of presseco on arrival was a nice touch. Cleanliness was very good in the rooms and communial areas. I would definitely stay there again it felt relaxed as soon as you walked in. Fully equipped rooms was a joy underfloor heating in the bathroom made it a pleasure to walk in there. Great Piccadilly well done !

Perfect Stay

We travel to London at least once a month for an extended weekend and haven't stayed at his hotel for years. I must admit: I will not stay anywhere else going forward. The staff is so friendly: helpful, patient, professional and always ready to lend a hand. Our entire stay was just perfect: from the welcome drink to the smooth checkout. Rooms were spotless and included complimentary fresh fruit daily and water (sparkling and stilled). Location could not be better, just across the street from China Town and a Soho. Sincere thanks and massive compliments to the staff at the Piccadilly London West End: keep up the impressive job!

Highly priced hotel with few amenities in a great location

Location is very good, right in the heart of the West End near many restaurants, pubs, and theaters. Public transit access is also nearby making it easy to get to virtually any part of London. Staff is welcoming and provided champagne on check-in and chocolate which was a nice touch.

For a highly starred (4 or 5 depending on website/travel agency) and the price, the hotel lacks many amenities found in hotels of a comparable class. Bathroom is lackluster and the tub would not drain properly. Room temperature was difficult to adjust and get to remain at a comfortable setting. Hotel restaurant is priced very high relative to other restaurants in the area. Lobby is very small with no common area to gather or relax - this is somewhat to be expected given London but but given the price and hotel class, it was very disappointing. There was no bell service offered, again surprising given the price and hotel class. Overall it was a lackluster hotel experience and the price is solely driven by the location. It would be a much cheaper/lower class hotel if located elsewhere.

I am a bit amiss with this review as it was a while ago,but good manners deserve reward. My wife and I were doing the usual as folk up from country to London wondering
I had an appointment at a London Hospital on Saturday morning so had to be chipper on the day.
So an early evening meal was in order walked past the Grand looked super but carried on.30 mins later we were back and entered.
From that moment life went up a step the floor manager that met us was just spot on he made us feel good instantly and gave us a table front and centre superb.
The waiter then took over with great humour and good manners drinks were served orders taken and two very relax and happy customers felt great.
The meal was good and the house Rose Pinot was a treat.
Time for desert again the floor manager whisked my wife away to investigate the cakes and tarts,oh good you feel when someone makes a little fuss of you.
No names but the waiter was from Egypt via Italy and good looking floor manager was a Lincolnshire coast man.
All in all just real good stuff,a pleasure not forgotten.
Ps the decor was wonderfull and the walk to the loos just sublime.

Whilst hotel is in an excellent location and reception staff very welcoming it could be a lot better.
Please note rooms are small and bathroom in my room was tiny.
Toilet right on wall and shower door didn't shut, sprung back open.
Mini bar was good and not badly priced for London.
Beds are small but a bigger bed I would think won't fit in the room.
Bed was comfy , my room was at the front and you could here street noise easy. It is right in the westend so expect noise really.
Breakfast first morning was not good but 2nd morning was a lot better but there was different staff on.room not cleaned until 5.30 which buy this time we were back in the room to change, this could be better
All in all not a bad hotel but could do better, cheap for the location compared to others .
