How to Get There
Best view and location.. The only drawback is the waiting time to check in and out.. it's kind of a nightmare waiting 30 mins when I have only 3 guests to check out..
No check out reception agent so you have to queue with those who check in
Staff are only interested if you are throwing money about.
A member of reception spoke to me like dirt because I couldn’t understand her poor attempt at the English language.
Rooms are clean but very dated.
I can’t stress enough that you are literally only paying for the location.
Won’t be staying again, rather pay the extra couple of quid on the tube!
I stayed at this hotel for one night. Was greeted well and being Elite member, I got my upgrade.
The room was beautiful, it took a while to warm it but eventually settled in. Very comfortable, I must add.The bathroom was a bit dated but amenities generous.
Had dinner at the Hyde bar, delicious.
When I was first informed that the former assistant manager ,whom I had a wonderful experience during my very first stay at this hotel, I was upset and very hesistant to book my stay in my upcoming trip again at this hotel. Personally I'm not a fan of switching hotels and I like to deal with the same people during my visits, It just makes the stay more stress free specially when you're travelling solo with a hectic schedule. It just saves you the unecessary hassle.
Luckily, not only did I have a pleasant stay but thanks to Mrs. Simona Fazio at the front desk, she was extremely wonderful and professional during my whole stay. My check in was not as smooth as I hoped for but she managed to overcome the issues in a very professional way. I really appreciate how she made sure my stay was as good or even better than my previous stays. I love it when the hotel staff work while they're loving their job ! it shows. I also appreciate how she followed up during my stay.
These tiny details make a lot of difference !
Location wise this hotel is excellent, its a walking distance from Harrods and Harvey Nichols.
I stayed in room #1211 it was spacious and the view was wonderful.
To top all of that the Secuirty is great.
The only downside was that 2 of the 3 elevators were down for 2 days which made it hard to get hold of the elevators during that period.
My wife and I stayed two nites in October. The two rooms my group had were the best we had on our entire trip. The service was excellent. The location can not be any better for London. Close to all the best shopping.
