How to Get There
I've stayed at this hotel a couple times now and have always left feeling a little disappointed. This past stay put me over the edge. I was staying at the hotel for 5 days and paying £330 per night. In the room they gave me, the carpets were absolutely filthy and even had a giant sticky stain near the bathroom - see photo. The plumbing is also so bad at this hotel that during the course of my stay, the toilet got clogged 3 times.
What put me over the edge was that towards the end of my trip, I was in my room working and I decided to run out to lunch. I put the privacy sign on the door as I didn't lock up my valuables. I came back and there was a maid cleaning my room. I was so furious because I had left money, my computer, my passport, and a couple expensive watches out in plain sight. I was so furious that I called the front desk and asked to speak to the head of housekeeping. I was connected through to her and she basically said they disregard the privacy sign on the door and made a stereotyping comment about the middle eastern customers that stay at the hotel.
Long story short, I had it with the hotel at that point. I had one night left but had to get out of that hotel so I checked and moved over to the Marriott County Hall for my last night in London. And for what it is worth, the Marriott County Hall is 100 times cleaner and nicer than the Park Tower Kinightsbridge. Better location too.
Just avoid the Park Tower Knightsbridge. There are so many nicer hotels in London at the same price. If you choose to stay here, remember to always lock up your valuables and be prepared for the staff to enter your room anytime - even if the privacy sign is up!! Have fun with that!!
5* Luxury Collection Hotel from 1999-2015 with an Amazing Piano Bar, I have patronized this Hotel over 10 times between 1999 to 2014 As I was attending a weeding in London I remember the Good Old Great Times I had at this Hotel and Re-booked this hotel again what a big mistake. Now the Hotel has Rundown Bedrooms, Chipped Old Baths, Dirty showers with mold in corners, Limescale around Taps. Piano Bar Closed down. I booked the Higher level Rooms with Panoramic Views, My Rooms were still in Need of a Total Refurbishment. My Room's Sofa had a White stain, I did not sit on the Sofa.
my husband and i stayed for 3 nights for quick London sightseeing. location is brilliant, walking distance to Hyde park and most of shopping areas. walking distance to Hop On Hop off too.
reception staff were very professional and great. Room was absolutely great with a good size and the panorama view over hyde park was lovely. bathroom was specious and super clean.
Breakfast buffet was very limited variety though compared to 5 star hotels. the lobby cafe was nice though.
i loved the hotel but wish they will introduce more cook for order egg station to improve their breakfast variety.
Me and my boyfriend stayed at the park tower for one night for the NTA’s. I have never been to Knightsbridge but the area was perfect I couldn’t believe harrods is only a 2 minute walk from the hotel and so
many shops. It was also a 15-20 minute walk to natural history museum so prime location! The hotel itself had lovely rooms I like that they’re all curved they offer a lot of space. The staff were also very attentive and helpful! Would have given the hotel a 5 rating however it lost a point as the breakfast was disappointing. We went down to breakfast at about 10.30, half an hour before it finished, and you could tell the buffet had been left out for ages. Meats, cheeses, fruits, pastries and milks weren’t fresh and there were no bowls left for cereals so had to ask. I also think for a luxury hotel like this a cooked breakfast should be included in the breakfast price. Would stay again but just maybe miss breakfast unless they keep food fresh.
Lovely room with a few slightly expensive, but so worth it. The view looked over London and really captured the beauty. The room was beautiful and the bed was extremely comfortable. The food oh where do I start.... Terrific!!
