Not very impressed at all

Check in was from 2pm. We arrived at 3pm to a lengthy check in, and to be told our room wasn’t ready. We were seated in reception with 3-4 other people waiting for approx 15 minutes before being shown to our room. We were then shown to our room at the back of the building behind the kitchen. This involved meandering our way up the escalator then descending stairs to the annexe. Dirty grubby carpet and staff accessing and using the emergency exit door to smoke/take a breather. There is no lift in this area so carrying luggage is your only option. (As per a previous travelllers review!)

The room was a good size with fridge and the usual bar facilities. The available to buy jelly babies were out of date. The drink cup in the bathroom had visible mould growing in it and the shower cubicle left a little to be desired. See photo. the bedroom window was absolutely plastered in bird muck. See photo

Very dissatisfied with the one night stay in this so called four star hotel prior to our trip to Italy the following day. Won’t be staying here again or recommending it. Try staying at the hotel next door! Or a premier inn!

Having said that, the position is great for sightseeing and getting around central London, close to Kensington park and good for the walk from little Venice along the canal up to Camden Town and market.

Surprised not in a good way!

Don’t normally write any hotel rating, but have stayed in hotels around the world for a range of budgets... the room in Park Grand London is tiny (sure maybe it’s London and didn’t pay top $$), but for the price paid, it was a shoe box, the room was relative clean, the bathroom was offensive tiny and dirty, imagine having just a shower curtain between the toilet and bath sink, after shower literally whole bathroom floor is wet!

Overall, not worth the 4 star rating and the price paid! You will be better off spend n pay a bit more for a better hotel.

One positive are the staff, accommodating and tried their best to meet the expectation of hotel guests as first hand witness for myself and one other check in guest.

Room wasn't cleaned

After make us wait for a few minutes they gave us a room that wasn't cleaned.
I found a take away bag from the previous day full with food garbaged, empty bottles, chicken, hair in the bed, bathroom as well, terrible and disgusted. What the hotel did, nothing just a yellow poor small to say sorry. Not good enough I will never come back it's far from 3 start hotel even less a 4 star like they like to claim. Stay away from there.

Not a 4 star

I’ve stayed one night in this hotel for a business trip, on arrival I asked for a adaptor and they didn’t have any. When you pretend to be a 4 star hotel in London the minimum is to think about having the best service to all foreign customers...

Also, I’ve been placed in a room in the basement To access I had to go through the hotel restaurant with very strong food smell and no windows, I asked to change the room and been placed on the 4th floor to the smallest room of the hotel probably ( the excuse was that the hotel is in a old building and that’s why the rooms are small) I didn't even have space for my luggage, which kind of 4 star hotel is that ?

The bathroom was inexistant with just a shower head and a curtain to separate from the toilets next to it, I found also some mould in the carpet in front of the “bathroom”.

I will not recommend this hotel and feel that they gave me those rooms based on my appearance...., my company has paid 200€ for it so it’s not cheap.

I’m goig back to London next week for work and I made sure my company didn’t not book this hotel again!

Overly Priced - Would not recommend

1 night stay

Pros: free fruit and water bottle

Cons: unclean, NO SPACE to unpack a suitcase (it was a small one too), TV did not work, air con did not turn off, constant noise from kitchen/ air con/ outside - thin walls, bathroom door was broken - wish was annoying as the room was so small I was sort of sleeping a step away from the toilet.

Advice** book a another hotel even if its further away - you might not get much sleep if your travelling in the morning - but more sleep than you'l get staying here. Room on Basement floor and I paid 180 ...
