How to Get There
Just arrived back after staying overnight at The Morton Hotel. At first the impression wasn't favourable as the reception staff were a bit abrupt when we arrived an hour and a half early for check in. We came back late evening after spending the day with friends. The staff on duty then were more welcoming, and checked us in efficiently. On finding the room it was extremely clean large spacious with amazing air conditioning. Better than most hotels abroad. The bath was enormous and plenty of supplies of tea, coffee and milk. The continental breakfast was wonderful and offered a good selection the croissants and pastries looked and tasted home made and were still warm. All served in their stylish lounge area. I wouldn't hesitate to book again loved it thank you.
We stayed here during a hot weekend in July - the price was really good value for London and the hotel was really nice. Spacious room and bathroom with sophisticated decor and nice cool air conditioning. I’d definitely stay again.
It’s a shame we didn’t have a chance to have a cocktail in the library.
We didn’t have breakfast at the hotel - there are lots of good options nearby.
Great location on Russel Square near the Underground and British Museum.
The room was compact with a convenient, useful layout. Clean. Comfortable bed with crisp cotton linens. Large walk in shower, large sink and plenty of surface space in the bathroom. Big cotton bath towels. Nice contemporary feel to the place.
Excellent service by the staff.
I’d book this again. Found on TripAdvisor and Agoda travel at an excellent rate.
I had a single room on the 3rd floor. Spacious, air-conditioned, immaculately clean, and very quiet. A little bit of street traffic noise, because it's diagonally across the street from Russell Square. The wardrobe had an empty refrigerator so that I could store my own food, a nice bonus. Quiet lounge and breakfast bar in the basement. Altho breakfast was continental, there's a good selection of healthy food. This is a great place for adults who want peace and quiet, and is worth the price. Helpful and unobtrusive staff. I will definitely come back next year.
A well placed, clean and all round lovely hotel. Nice room with a view over Russell Square. Staff were very polite and pleasant.
Didn’t use any of the facilities other than the room so can’t rate these.
Only reason I didn’t give 5 stars is the room was warm as the air con was not great.
Great little hotel.
