I stayed at the Montague on the 4th and 5th of August with my daughter and it was just superb. The lovely staff were so welcoming and friendly.
Our room was beautiful ...oh and the bed was soooo comfortable .
We had a fab time in London, drinking cocktails, going to see a show, weather was great.
Hotel just a short walk to Russell Square Tube, So convenient to see the sights.
The breakfast was absolutely fabulous... it was perfectly cooked and so much choice and all the hotel staff are so helpful, They made our stay so enjoyable. Thank you so much xxx

Lovely, leafy & fabulous staff

We stayed for two nights in August & can’t praise the hotel enough. The staff warmly greeted us & went out their way to ensure we were happy - the lovely bar man even taught my 5 year old how to make cocktails. It’s in a lovely, leafy area, very quiet & calming, you almost feel like you’re not in London. The terrace outside is so peaceful for enjoying your breakfast & the Beach bar was a hit with the kids. But for us, the staff made our holiday fabulous & unforgettable- something every family holiday should be.

A Hidden Gem

I recently had the absolute pleasure of staying at The Montague on The Gardens. I have never stayed at a Red Carnation hotel before this trip but I most certainly would again.

The room was beautiful, bed sublime and each and everyone of the staff were helpful, approachable, knowledgeable and efficient.

Well worth a visit.

A delightful stay in London

The Montague on The Gardens was a charming and pleasant hotel to stay at in London. The staff was very helpful, professional, and so kind. They always greeted us and helped us if we had any questions. The rooms are so clean and the perfect amount of space. The location was convenient as it was a short walk to some of the main tourist attractions. We had tea there which was so delicious; all the different scones and a variation of teas. I would definitely stay here again and recommend it for anyone who is traveling with family.

Small room

Great location next to the British museum and 10min walk from
Russell Square.

Front desk was friendly.

Corridor looked aged- needed modernising. Room was extremely small for the price paid. Slight off hole in the wall. Bathroom was nice and reasonable size.

Generally disappointed with how small the room sizes are.
