Warm and wonderful!

I don’t even know where to start ! Everything was perfect from start to finish. For me the sign of a great hotel isn’t just perfection from the outset, in which case You might be as well go to Mayfair or park lane but what you won’t get there or anywhere else for that matter are three very important things.

1) the warmth you get at the montague. I actually felt like Mustafa was my friend. The kindest nicest soul you’ll ever meet.
2) The other thing you won’t get is the guarantee that if something goes wrong the montague will handle it perfectly and that to me is how you can really gauge if a hotel is a great. I forgot all my belongings in the safe as we were in a rush to catch the train and once I got to the train station I called Mustafa and he was at the train within 15 minutes - passports in hand !
3) Their ability to make a special occasion so special. It was my daughters birthday the weekend before and they went over and beyond to make her feel special.

I’ve been to london 100 times, we’ve traveled all over the world but the montague is unique. It’s wonderul. If you stay anywhere else .. you’re missing out on a truly wonderful experience.

The Leopard Bar

Stopped off for cocktails and some food after glamonstrating against Brexit. It is a superb place. Drinks to die for and the best fish and chips I've ever had. The batter was as crisp as the best tempura, but proper batter. The staff are helpful and polite without being obsequious or intrusive. A joy!

Afternoon Tea

Afternoon tea near the British Museum overlooking a pleasant green at the back....relaxed and nice place to sit. The tea was good value and a great way to spend a few hours and escape the general bustle of central London

Simply Amazing!

Just checked out from the Montague after a week's stay. Simply put, it is hard to believe that this is a 4 star hotel as the quality of service I received and the attitude of the staff at all levels were, in my opinion, of 5 star standard. The hotel kindly upgraded my room to a suite which was extremely comfortable and did not lack any amenities. All amenities were meticulously topped up every day without fail and the room itself spotlessly cleaned. What makes this hotel stand out is the quality, friendliness and professionalism of all its staff. In fact, some 5 star hotels could stand to learn a thing or two about service from the Montague. I will definitely stay again at the Montague on my next visit to London

Mix It

I booked this for a birthday as a slightly novel alternative to just going to a bar and it turned out great. Delphine was a wonderful host and made the evening feel like a really special, personal experience. The cocktails were also excellent, and overall really good value for money. I would definitely recommend this.
