How to Get There
We had stayed at The King's Wardrobe six years ago and loved it and this time did not disappoint. After a 26hr flight from Australia, our weary family of four received a warm welcome from Toby and Kieran who took us to our two bedroom, two bathroom apartment. It was spacious with all of the amenities a travelling family could need. Fully equipped kitchen, dishwasher, washing machine. A handy location near St Paul's Cathedral we found the best way to get there from Heathrow was to change at Hammersmith to the District Line getting off at Blackfriars from there it is a short walk to Carter Lane.
We stayed for a week at King's Wardrobe.
The staff was excellent - courteous, helpful, knowledgeable - we appreciated their help every day! Our apartment was clean, and very close to the tube. The living room furniture was dated and well used, but overall, pretty comfortable after a long date of sight-seeing!
I would highly recommend King's Wardrobe.
These were nice apartments. We booked 2 bedroom and it had 2 en suites. Full kitchen with washer/dryer, dishwasher and all utensils.
Was a bit hot on a few days, a fan would be nice. Otherwise, clean and roomy.
The bells from St Paul were a bit noisy, you get use to it after a few days.
