Central, quiet, stylish and comfortable
Reviewed 4 weeks ago

This is third time I have stayed at Kings Wardobe. The apartments are well designed, modern and comfortable. The location is superb, and quiet for central London. Staff are always helpful, friendly and there to assist. Strongly recommend.
The bells of St Paul's are a beautiful part of this city and of staying here. City of London is right here, and great proximity to Tate Modern, South Bank, Chard, and public transport of all kinds and directions.
Really great option for business and leisure travel. Save on transport costs and time by staying central. It works.

Great location

We booked the family penthouse suite for a week in October to attend our Son’s wedding. The apartment was immaculately presented, with spacious rooms, located a few minutes walk from St Paul’s Cathedral, the Thames, and two tube stations plus numerous pubs and eateries. A great place for a family group. I can’t recommend this place highly enough.

Perfect stay for the second time! We will keep coming back.

The Kings Wardrobe residences (overlooking St Andrews Hill) are our favourite place to stay in London. This was our second visit - we stayed 6 nights in apartment L3.2. Which has 2 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms. One bedroom had en-suite bathroom with a good sized shower. The other bedroom was larger and looked in to a light well. The main bathroom was a good sized and had a bath with shower over. Both had heated towel rails.

The apartment has great amenities - including a washer/dryer, combined oven/microwave and cooktop and a decent size fridge/freezer. The living room had a sofa and chair plus dining table/chairs. The apartments in the residences are spacious and very much feel like a home away from home to us. Very well insulated and each room has its own aircon - super important to us. Beds and pillows are comfortable, windows in the bedrooms come with blockout blinds plus blockout curtains, the living room has privacy blinds plus blockout curtains.

The location of the kings wardrobe is perfection - within a 2 minute walk are multiple pubs, St Paul’s cathedral is just around the corner (you can hear the bells chime on each quarter hour), millennium bridge and the south bank an easy few minutes walk. St Paul’s tube station, black friars station, cannon street tube and Thames clipper stop are all very close by and easily walkable - and plenty of busses.

Service is great - both before and during our stay and at checkout.

Since our last stay we have recommended the kings wardrobe to family, friends and colleagues and were so happy that our recent visit was just as great as our first. This will be our London base for all subsequent trips.

In terms of opportunities for improvement, at some stage the apartments would benefit from some furniture updates (smaller dining chairs, bigger tv for livings room).

Above and beyond

I recently was in London on a business trip and stayed in this fabulous apartment. I needed help with the laundry and they went above and beyond to assist me as well as helping me with a late checkout. I was blown away - highly recommend this gem of a spot - close to everything! Wish I could have stayed longer.

Great location for family vacation

We stayed a week in 2BR, 2.5Bath. Comfortable and spacious for a family of 4. Really appreciated having kitchen with microwave and washer/dryer and wifi Close to plenty of shops and restaurants and very easy to walk or take tube/bus everywhere. Staff was always attentive and helpful, especially explaining how the appliances turn on. Lots of dials and knobs, so it wasn't clear at first. Microwave/oven are the same appliance. Fresh towels and tissue always available on request. Wonderful stay!
