How to Get There
Staff were rude however they did bring us a heater because the room was freezing
We had no sleep
Power cuts all night
The one good thing about it was the location. close to the centre
Would not recommend this hotel
Nice hotel centrally located close to Theatre Land ( 10-15 minutes walk). Trafalgar Square is only 1 couple of hundred yards away as is the strand and various other London attractions. The rooms are of a decent size and the decor generally throughout the hotel is good. There ias a nice bar on the ground floor and we found all of the reception staff etc. very friendly and accommodating. If you want a hotel close to the centre which is clean and tidy (albeit not cheap) and close also to many eating establishments, then I can recommend this hotel.
ituated in London's West End at Trafalgar Square, this hotel location mixes modern accommodations within its grand 19th-century Victorian marble walls. Close to countless businesses and government buildings as well as the historic neighbourhood and theatres.
Busy and exciting area with all the major attractions within walking distance. Closest underground station: Charing Cross.
Quiet sleeping quality and attentive staff.
Despite powercuts on Saturday night- on which the hotel was not to blame, we had a good stay.
Great Value foe money - considered location, room size, lobby and a excellent staff - very friendly and service oriented.
Easy check in and out!
We did not eat at the hotel - so i could not rate any food. The hotel bar is fine, Sonia the drinks and a good variety of wine pr glas.
Just outside to the left - you will find a perfect breakfast place.
Where should I start -
Check-in was poor.
People in the hotel were arrogant.
Receptionist couldn’t look at me when talking to me.
Power cut all night which meant the loud heater went on and went off whilst watching TV. There was no info provided about why and no one called. We went looking for help and no one was available. When called reception they gave a blag excuse and didn’t provide care and concern to our query.
Loud heater in room didn’t blow out warm air.
Loud AC or generator units outside of window.
Elephant in room above that was stomping round.
Positive - they gave us a warm heater and the little kitchen was good.
