How to Get There
The Connaught offers the best of hotel hotels, beautifully paponupted rooms, excellent staff and two English style bars, the concierge were very helpful in planning our excursions, the doormen always welcomed us back, and the staff at the check in always smiled when we passed. We loved the bar at the front of the hotel with its suited staff who were attentive and friendly. Ask for a room in the original building. ❤️❤️❤️Free internet throughout the hotel with no password.
We always stay at the Connaught when in London
The service, the dining experience, the luxury, the friendliness makes it one of the best in the world for a city hotel
Just one negative is the room size for the price . Also the rooms on the backstreet can be noisy due to the delivery vans at early hours in morning
We will be sure to come back
My daughter is almost eleven, and we decided this would be the summer she would visit the UK.
I booked the requisite touristy kid things and then decided if I must torture myself at that god awful wax museum, I best stay in a big girl hotel....for balance!
We had the Library Suite. It was soooo worth it. When we had a tiny plumbing issue, they simply moved us into The Apartment on the top floor....a total upgrade but not needed-yet they went that far...
The staff and servers go beyond in service-the food at lunch and tea service were standard but lovely-wishing for less Fufu sweet options and more traditional English tea styled desserts-certainly had buckets of gin & tonics-why do Brits do it better???
Did I mention they gave my child customized chocolate gifts?
The Concierge is the best and most thoughtful in all of London.
The last time I stated, I was eleven years old.
When I go to London, I usually stay at Browns or Dorchester....
I think this might be my new favorite forever. I’m quite sure I will be back soon.
We had a small wedding at The Connaught for 29 people on June 29th and the setting and service were absolute perfection. From start to finish, the whole experience, food, drinks and service was impeccable. The staff had thought of everything before I even had to ask. We live in London and we often spend time in the bar because the cocktails and setting is beautiful however we will also be returning every year for our anniversary to relive what was made a perfect day. Thank you The Connaught, you will forever hold a special place in our hearts.
Okay, the Connaught is one of the most expensive hotels in London, probably up there in the price tables of hotels anywhere in the world, but it is worth it. My wife and I spent a night there recently to celebrate an anniversary and did not regret the extravagance of a hotel stay in our home city.
The building and location are iconic, the standard of decoration and maintenance are 6 star and the service is brilliant - courteous and efficient, but friendly and certainly not obsequious. The Aman spa is stunning (maybe a bit too hot) and the rooms everything a global traveller could ask for. We dined elsewhere but had brunch before we checked out - and it was absolutely delicious. Highly recommended for a luxurious stay in London.
