Amazing Boutique Hotel with best location and service
Reviewed 22 hours ago

Service is impeccable. Rooms are very clean and tidy. It is 2-5 mins walking distance to Marylebone high street and oxford street. Tube station is close by and main shopping high street is on walking distance. I love the location and service of this hotel. There is nothing not to like about this hotel. I highly recommend it if travelling for work or with family.

Really good, almost perfect.

Let me qualify this review by saying that I am a cigar smoker. One of the things I always look for when booking hotels is a smoking area. Worst case, an outdoor terrace. Best case, an actual cigar room. I was so pleased to find this hotel when doing research online, and we were even more excited once we arrived.

This is classic, beautiful hotel located in a quiet neighborhood in Mayfair. We were a couple blocks away from the busy Oxford Street, a couple blocks away from the underground. The staff was perfect, the Decour was beautiful. The indoor smoking lounge was classy and beautiful, and the outdoor smoking lounge was heated and had food and bar service.

Our room was on the bottom floor, and was one of the 4 “courtyard style” rooms. What does this mean? It means that in addition to a beautiful, large hotel room, you have a door that opens up into a private walled Terrace, which includes comfortable furniture, lighting and an outdoor heater. I felt like a fat kid trapped in a candy store. It was awesome. We were traveling with another couple, who also had this type of room category, so we were able to have them open the door between our Private patios, and we used this massive area to have happy hours and evening champagne toasts, as well as smoke cigars.

The good:

Everything was good. The location, the proximity to everything, the design and Decour, the friendly and attentive staff, the beautiful room, the beautiful patio, the beautiful cigar lounge and Terrace. We had sky TV in our room and literally had 700 channels.

The bad:

The list is very short. The showers were a little small, but this is pretty much everywhere in Europe. The room to our door seem to be about 1 inch short, which resulted in bright hallway light shooting into our room at night while we try to sleep. It became annoying. Finally, our friends were staying next to the elevator, and the housekeepers started opening and closing, and slamming doors starting at 6 AM. My friends told me they felt like they were staying in a hostel at times. Fortunately I did not experience this.

The verdict: I love everything about this place. I will come back in a heartbeat, and I would recommend to anybody. Smokers or not.

excellent reception ,waiting and bar staff across the board .we were kindly upgraded to a Suite which was a great room . Huge and comfortable bed ,all clean ,quite and comfortable . Outside cigar lounge a great inclusion for smokers that inconveniences no one but gives a great heated outdoor feature. Bar in the evening was a great wind down zone with charming staff. Breakfast also great and cooked to order . All in all a very good value stay

What a wonderful hotel. We had an excellent welcome and quick and easy check in, nothing was too much trouble.
The room was very comfortable, spotlessly clean and had all the amenities you require. The bed was really comfortable and made for a cosy nights sleep.
We enjoyed some drinks in the bar. Breakfast was great, nice food presented well.
The location is ideal for shops and restaurants but just far enough away to be nice and quiet.
We look forward to staying again

Okay stay

Room was smaller than expected but it was clean and okay for two people. We were more disappointed with the service. Staff weren't very friendly and we didn't feel very comfortable or welcomed during our stay. Not worth the price.
