I will start by saying, a really great hotel. These folks go out of their way to make sure your stay is what you want. The rooms are very comfortable and up to date. The location is just a short walk from the tube and there are so many options within walking distance. We booked a ride from Heathrow in order to avoid trying to navigate the tube after a long flight. This cost about 80 pounds and it was worth it. Upon arrival, we did have a little wait until our room was available but we found their lobby area was very comfortable. The morning breakfast was always stocked with everything and anything that you needed. It feels very homey as they keep OJ, milk etc in a fridge and you just go over and pour what you want. The service? Fabulous. On the third morning, I noticed that our coffee in the room hadn't been replenished. Being on US time, with no coffee, lets just say that I need my coffee. Well while signing onto the Wifi they give you an opportunity to rate the service. I clicked 3 out of 10 and stated something to the effect of "attention to detail" and the coffee wasn't replenished. We went out for the day and upon our return we walked into the room to find the coffee basket filled, a bag of popcorn and a note from the GM stating their apologies. Service members, throughout the day, would stop us and apologize. It should be known that they also provide a complimentary coffee basket on the first day and then you need to purchase your coffee after that. We hadn't been informed. Honestly, that makes sense to me. After that, we purchased our coffee. So hats off to them! I would stay here anytime.

Really a good hotel

Hotel is on excellent location, polite staff, clean. Only breakfast should be a bit more reacher and more various for that price. Overall, very high note :) and absolutely recommended! Rooms are spacious, nice kitchen. There is an evening happy hour in restaurant...great!

Really good value hotel

We stayed for 4 nights and it was a great value. It was about a 10 minute walk to the subway station and that is not bad, except when it is cold and raining. Depending on where you want to go, it is a decent location. If you want to go towards Buckingham Palace and up that way, then the subway is fast. If you are looking to go towards the London Tower or areas more in that direction, then it is a poor spot to stay.

Overall the room was nice for what it was.....a relatively inexpensive hotel in London. It is in line with a Holiday Inn Express, etc which is fine if you are expecting that (and we were) but if you are hoping for a "suite" or an upgraded hotel stay, this really isn't it.

A fantastic stay! HIGHLY recommended!

We stayed three nights in late March. The staff was very warm and welcoming when we arrived. We had arranged for them to hold our luggage, as we would be arriving a couple hours before check-in time. Instead, they allowed us to check in early. The attendant also gave us a map of London and was very friendly. Another employee went out of his way to assist us with the elevator. We felt right at home! The room was very clean, very modern, and spacious. The bed was perfect! The kitchen has a mini fridge and small dishwasher (both look like cabinets), burners, microwave, toaster, electric kettle, etc. We used the kitchen amentites and that was a main attraction for us to book at this hotel. The hotel was very quiet and located near a lovely little park. In fact it's about a five minute walk from the Vauxhall Underground station through the park. What could be better?! The breakfasts were delicious every morning and again, the staff was outstanding, helpful, and attentive. Complimentary breakfast was a full English breakfast with eggs, sausages, beans, various types of potatoes, excellent croissants, breads, and pastries, a huge assortment of drink options, porridge, pancakes, fresh fruit salads, a yogurt and berries station, veggies and cheese station, etc. We loved the food! We also took advantage of the free computer station and wifi. The keyboard has a couple quirks (the @ sign is hard to find, etc) but the staff was very helpful to explain/help. Even when my US cell phone service was not functioning, they allowed me to call my provider from their desk phone to resolve the issue. In every regard this hotel was exceptional! It's a short walk from a large Tesco grocery store, an outstanding cafe (Kennington Lane Cafe), and the Tube/Bus stop. We recommend this hotel highly!!
