How to Get There
Lovely hotel with brilliant location to Central Line underground & Hyde Park. If possible stay on a higher floor to get great views of the London skyline. We found it easy to get around on the underground & on foot. A few nice restaurants & cafes in the local area without having to walk far. We didn’t eat at the hotel so cannot comment but the bar is really good & staff helpful / friendly. The gym has a good selection of equipment with towels & water in there. No spa which would be nice although they could arrange treatments in the room but think they have sister hotels with a spa. Tea & coffee in the room had a really good selection with nice coffee bags instead of instant stuff!! Also nespresso machine as well as a kettle. Only stayed two nights but would definitely go back there again for a longer stay.
From the moment our taxi arrived at the door, till the moment we left after our stay every member of staff was polite and friendly. The service was excellent and the food was great.
The breakfast buffet choice was good and if I was to be picky I would have liked fried egg on the buffet and a choice of Cranberry juice.
We did have a club sandwich in one of the bars at lunch and its a good job we were not in a rush, but once it arrived it was hot and tasty.
Overall a very nice break in a very nice hotel
Absolutely amazing, first time staying in a 5 star hotel and I felt like a Queen. From the moment I stepped through the door, the staff were welcoming, super friendly. The facilities were impeccable and the bed was beyond comfortable. I would not hesitate to recommend the hotel.
Stayed at the Royal Lancaster with my partner, and we were thoroughly impressed from the moment we arrived.
The hotel check in was a breeze, with polite and helpful reception staff.
Our room was a delux double, located on the eleventh floor overlooking Hyde Park. The room itself was modern, with luxurious linen and bathroom toiletries (note: identical pattern and design bedding to that of the Club cabin of a well known British airline). The bed was very comfortable and spacious.
Located close to the underground station on the central line, it was really easy to get around London.
Having attendee functions here in the past, it was great to stay here and I certainly hope it won’t be my last. Absolutely loved this hotel.
I have been staying regularly at The Royal Lancaster for the last 6 months. I am made welcome every time I check in. The Staff make the hotel. They are happy to be there and go that bit further to make my stay that much more enjoyable. The turnover of Staff is low which says to me that they are well treated and enjoy their work. This is reflected in their attitude towards the guests.
The rooms are fresh, modern, comfortable, practical and well designed. Breakfast is top quality. The Nipa Thai restaurant is exceptional.
