In desperate need to a little makeover
Reviewed 3 days ago

I stayed here many times in the early 2000's, it was always a pleasant experience. Good service, clean, excellent breakfast It's probably at least 15 years since the last visit and not much has changed, now the place looks tired and a little threadbare.
The breakfast choice was much reduced, I had to find somebody to get coffee as it wasn't offered to me.
Outside the façade needs a good rub down to remove the rust from the entrance overhang and a good coat or two of paint.
Really not what I would expect from a Radisson.

Good location, the rest needs an improvement

The hotel location is a minute from oxford and marble arch which is amazing. The lobby is nice as well. The first room we got was tiny and not very clean, after we complained we got the Radisson “business class” room which was better and included more space and a Nespresso coffee maker. If you don’t plan on spending too much time in the room it’s not too bad, but bear in mind that other than the superb location, hotel itself is pretty outdated and rooms tiny (even business class).

Business Class Room?

I stayed here with work at the end of January for a conference. When I arrived I was really quite happy, the reception and communal areas were immaculate and completed to a high standard.

The conference room was well set out and refreshments were good quality and a nice choice.

I went to my bedroom for the first time around 5:30 on the 10th floor. The room door had a sign indicating it was business class. This immediately set my expectations quite high. Radisson Hotel in an affluent London borough and a business class room.

When I entered the room I was really disappointed. The best way I can describe it is a tired old dog. The carpets were dirty, bathroom was mouldy, furniture was marked and old. I feel for the cost of the room it is really not of the right standard and if I was the hotel manager I would be ashamed to let that room out.

I've given a rating of 2 because the food and drink provided was good. With the exception of the Eton Mess my colleague ordered which had been made so far in advance that the meringue had been absorbed into the cream.

Based on my experience I wouldn't recommend staying at this hotel and I won't return.

Business class room had good in room amenities and everything you would need for a comfortable stay. Room was very old fashioned and looked as if they hadn't had a refurb since the 80s but was very clean .
Breakfast selection and service was very good . Breakfast room service not as good , only got one cooked breakfast as opposed to the two we had ticked for each guest and poached eggs were missing . Salt and peppers empty and hot items all luke warm . Was charged tray charge despite a sign on the door stating there is no tray charge for business class rooms . Concierge very friendly and bar staff nice also .
Great location for tourists , most places walkable .
