We booked a 2 night stay at the park plaza county hall to celebrate valintines day and my birthday... the hotel was brilliant and made our stay so special.. we was upgraded to a room with a view of the London eye and big ben and was also given wine and chocolate strawberry's. Our bed was full of petals and balloons and all staff was so friendly and helpful... thank you

This hotel has easy access to most tourist attractions, but I did pay for a London eye view but could only see the top of it due to building and I don’t honk they should be sold as a London eye view. Was the most disappointing point of the trip!

Rude and poor customer service
Reviewed 3 days ago

While our stay here was enjoyable the service we received after our visit was absolutely appalling. We were charged twice for our stay which was not cheap. For a four star hotel you expect to receive better customer service than what you get. The staff are uninterested and unwilling to help when you are trying to resolve this issue and get a refund. I rang to inform them that I had been charged twice and they outright said that they had only charged me once although I said I could send over bank statements to prove this was not the case. As I was enquiring about this issue and what I had to do next to resolve this issue and asking where I needed to send this information too, the lady on the phone decided she didn’t want to help or resolve this issue for me. Instead she decided it would be better to hang up on me whilst I was still talking. Absolute joke, and ruined our entire experience here and have left us guests absolutely fuming with the customer service experienced. You cannot pride yourself on being a 4 star hotel when basic manners can’t even be attaind.

Birthday weekend

My daughter chose this hotel as she wanted somewhere special to stay for her 16th birthday. I had informed guest relations it was her birthday and when we checked in our room had been decorated with balloons and banners which she loved. We stayed in an executive studio and were on the 12th floor with impressive views on The Shard. Our stay was fantastic from the second we checked in with the staff being very attentive from the outset. The room was amazing and was soundproof so despite being so close to Waterloo Station we did not hear a peep. The location was second to none with a less than 5 minute walk to the London Eye. Would thoroughly recommend this hotel and had a fabulous time there.
