I don't understand these reviews. The apartment was clean and modern. Had everything needed for the stay. really welcoming and easy check in. Much cheaper than a hotel in the area at this decor.

Just like Alexandra O we were also dupped by the fact that we thought we had booked 'The Olive Apartments' in London and had planned our visit around having access to the closest underground. On arrival we were told by the staff (all young students who appeared to run to their desks when we showed at the hard to open door!) that our apartment, which by the way was a studio not a 1 bedroom apartment as we had booked, was a further 10-15 minute walk from their office. Not happy but off we went along Brick Lane - very eclectic to say the least. On arrival some 20 minutes later we found Brick Lane 2 in Cheshire Street. I think it is important to say here that we are both in our sixties and were not expecting to walk with our bags along cobbles. First impressions were okay but as we unpacked and then showered the nightmare began - Bed was okay but shower was dangerous - too small and luckily we are not large in size. Bathroom was dirty and hot water to the bath was luke warm. Kitchen was not functional and again luckily my husband has a clue and realised that there was a central switch for the electricity. There were no instructions on how to use any of the kitchen appliances. Heating was intermittent and the controls not easy to use. Kitchen was okay but there was no dishwasher and therefore it appeared that a lot of the utensils had not been washed well! Yuk. The 'lounge room' furniture was in need of a clean and an upgrade. The local area was not what I had thought and I was quite unnerved by the noises on the streets at night. In stead of having the tube 5 mins away to take us directly to the centre of London, we had a 10 minute walk to the overground and then we needed to change to take an underground. This overground was then closed at 9.30pm each evening which then made it hard to get home. Along with all of the above the upstairs tenants were moving around the apartment at all hours of the night ensuring that no one else was going to sleep!
Yes perhaps we could have packed up our bags and returned to the booking office BUT that was not going to happen

My main concern is with Qantas and HooRoo their hotel agents and their inability to make it very clear that this property was not what we were getting on their website. Yes there is small print but it is on the next page! Olive Apartments are no longer on the Qantas website - I wonder why?? I have contacted by phone and email Hooroo and of course their office is offshore. They are contacting the property...this is not what I want and they do not seem to understand. i am very frustrated and am looking for some compensation for a very bad decision on my part.

I've tried to find the place we stayed in here on trip advisor but this place seems to go by different names, we stayed in an apartment on MANSELL STREET in Tower Hill called "Tower Hill Apartments" provided by the office at Unit 13 1-13 Adler Street.

We picked up the keys at the office 5-7 minutes away from the flat. The staff was very unprofessional and rude and not service minded what so ever.

First impression of the flat when we got there was not a good one. It was filthy. Dirty floors, stained sofa, not to mention the disgusting curly little hairs in the bathroom, the pink grime in the shower, the layers of dust under the bed, the dirty cutlery and plates in the kitchen, the spare beddings with huge yellow stains on, and the Windows would need a clean once in a while too...was extremely hot in the flat and really bad air. The flat was provided with two fans, but that didn't make too much of a difference. The beds were tiny and they did not feel clean, the decorations such as framed pictures were broken and did not do much of a job to make the place look nice. But the worst must have been being woken up by RATS in the middle of the night. Every night.

After our stay we had accidentally left our own set of keys and brought one of their set of keys with us. I quickly replied to their mail, apologised and promised I would send it over by tracked mail the following day and politely asked if they could send ours too. They replied that the charge for that would be £20 plus the postage which was £6, and that they would send our keys once they've received their keys and the money. We did what we were told without a fuss, but could not wait to leave a review about this horrendous place and their awful customers service. I've stayed in far better places in London. We stay in London twice a year or more, but this is by far the WORST place we've stayed at and we will not return.

Abbiamo perso un giorno di vacanza perché l'appartamento che ci era stato assegnato non corrispondeva a quello prenotato con largo anticipo tramite agenzia.
Avevamo chiesto espressamente un appartamento con due bagni per 7 persone 4 adulti e 3 bambini invece ci siamo ritrovati un appartamento con un solo bagno e un piccolo soggiorno con solo 6 sedie. Soltanto il giorno dopo è stato sostituito l'alloggio che era distante circa 20 minuti a piedi dal primo, causandoci ahimè disagi.

Excelente departamento de tres ambientes. Todos los ambientes son externos. Dos amplios dormitorios, Y una de las cocinas mas completas que he tenido en viajes. Amplio refrigerador y amplio freezer de varios cajones. Ideal para una estadía prolongada. El horno eléctrico es excelente. Demasiado sensible es la alarma de humo cuando se cocina. Tuve que cocinar con la ventana abierta para evitar que suene. Cuenta con lava seca ropas.
El equipamiento del departamento es super completo. La cafetera no andaba cuando llegamos y para la tarde nos la habían cambiado por una nueva.
La ubicación es a dos cuadras del Underground, Circle line, lo cual es fantástico para hacer las combinaciones a cualquier destino.
El edificio es muy silencioso y nuevo. La atención al llegar es excelente. Muy amables y dispuestos. Supermercados a 200 metros, lo mismo que Pubs y lugares donde comer si uno no quiere cocinar.
Sin dudarlo es el lugar al que volvería a Londres para una estancia prolongada.
