Old tired rooms

Rooms were tired and old. Lights in bathrooms didn't work correctly. Very disappointed and not worth the value. Rather stay at the Mercure down the Road as it is a LOT nicer. Very disappointed at Accor.

Excellent location, excellent staff

I have stayed in this property on many occasions and every time I have been impressed with the quality of staff. Even when arriving tired and grumpy they immediately make you fee; good.

If this was the odd occasion then nothing special but they have been consistent in their helpfulness over a very long period of time.

Add to that the great location for the DLR making it easy to get into the heart of London but by staying here you avoid the crowds and feel you are part of a local community.

Good restaurant in the hotel but others nearby if you want choice.

Beautiful hotel next to the train station
Reviewed 1 week ago

This beautiful hotel is situated at a very convenient location next to the train station (only 2 stops to London bridge) and just 10 minutes walk from the centre of Greenwich and the famous observatory park. Our room was spacious and with everything we'd need (iron, iron board, fridge, bathtub, shower). Breakfast was very good with many choices in a beautiful setting, but unfortunately only filter coffee was available. The staff were so polite and always ready to help us. Johanna and the guy working with her at the reception (whose name we don't remember) were amazing. We'll return!

Good Hotel and handy for lots of places

Situated next to the DLR and the Southern Railway station this Hotel allows you to be in many places in minutes. Catch the DLR to Canary Warf or Banks for switching, or Southern Rail to London Bridge (again switching if required) and / or a short Walk to the River and Tower Bridge. The Hotel is really good, we had a three-bed room (double and pull out single) which was well presented, the beds were very comfortable. The bathroom also contains a separate shower cubicle and the shower was adequate. A separate toilet is located near the room entry door. Our room was quiet. Breakfast was a Buffet style and was very good with full English and many other variations of breakfast available. Check in should have been quick having done it all on line, only to be told by reception they couldn't find my card and room key, so had to go through it all again, check out was quick! The bar area at night again is well presented. The staff throughout the Hotel are very good, friendly and efficient. Leaving the Hotel and walking towards Greenwich center are several bars and in the center of Greenwich you will find lots of good eating houses, however if you look on your right for Royal Hill Rd (about 4 mins walk from hotel) you will find a cluster of good bars all serving food in particular the Greenwich Union, with Real Ale. Never had a bad Stay at the Nova and we always enjoy going out and about in Greenwich. We will return.

A very interesting deal for the room including breakfast and 3 people in the room.

Very good helping staff alround the hotel. The hotel is next to the train DLR station.
The thames boat taxi's are a 10 min. walk away. The closed carpark is a great deal, online reserved for 16.00 £.per night. The Greenwich Observatory is 10 min. walk away and very interesting. To drive out of London from the hotel , the route is quit easy and even in the evenening after work we drove at 18.00 hours quit fluidly out of London.
