The cafe/bakery/restaurant in the hotel had great food and was very convenient. The room had a nice decor and the bathroom and shower were a nice large size for Europe. Great neighborhood with shopping and food options nearby.

V friendly, clean

I booked this last min when I was let down with an airb&b booking.

I went for the one up from basic type of room as it had a deal as it was on the day. For a reasonably priced london hotel, I think the room was big enough, and it was modern, clean & bright.

Downsides are the air con is pretty useless & you cant open the windows so ended up asking for a fan as the room was so hot. The water pressure in the shower wasn’t great, but the shower itself was nicely done & clean

Staff were really helpful. Cafe looked great (its a Gails bakery), we went out for breakfast but the menu & food looked great.

I noticed the office space downstairs when going to the loo and that also looked great if you are looking for that

Overall, I would stay again

Arrived early and was greeted by the reception, the reception area and ground is really inviting and lovely, the smells from the bakery is gorgeous....offered an upgrade and we took it, well if that was an upgrade I dread to think what our room was like originally (think it was still the same room) UNDERWHELMING, no colour, unless you include the stained carpet. Toilet was a nightmare...we came back on our 2nd day and our room was exactly the same. Bins not empty, bed not made, I rang down to complain and all I got was "ok"
The only saving grace of this hotel is Gail's bakery....the breakfast and bakery was amazing! Definitely not worth the money, you are paying for the location NOT your room....becareful!

Check in was easy and staff were helpful. The location was great. Thats the positives done. Now the negatives . £170 for a tiny, unloved room. Bare walls (apart from scuffs and scratches) asked if there were any bigger rooms and the staff member took us to another room which was about a foot bigger but at least it had a chair. We were now located next to a very loud lift. The noise from the road was awful. I know it’s the middle of London but the windows are thin. Like other reviews we heard everything from the other rooms and corridor. So all in all, quite an expense for a sleepless night.
