How to Get There
Excellent hotel, close to tube with good cafes, restaurants and pubs nearby. Staff are very helpful and our room was comfortable, spotlessly clean and very quiet. Hotel is a a very nice part of Kensington just a short walk from all the wonderful museums
We stayed in 3 rooms over 6 nights at this hotel and had issues with all of them.
1st Room due to Road Noise
2nd Room due to Failed AC (offered a plug in fan and that the building was just old - noone came to check that night)
3rd Room due to Wedding/Event Noise
All 3 rooms had hair on the bathroom floor.
Rooms were extremely dated verses what was present on the website.
Manager was unhelpful and berated another customer at the top of his lungs in the lobby.
They offered breakfast one day (for our troubles), but everything was inedible and the worst breakfast we have ever had at a hotel.
Felt as if we were 2nd class citizens in the hotel.
The location is the only relative bright spot... it is a little far out from most things, but easy Underground access and nice restaurant options surrounding the hotel as well as a Hop On Hop Off bus stop.
Excellent location, and in terms of breakfast, pillow and quilts there were great. however, the staff need to work on the sizes of the bed and switch it from twin to double bed. maybe a little brightness need to be considered and distribute it naturally in the room.
Our stay was excellent. The rooms are well appointed and quiet. The location is excellent with the tube next door and surrounded by many restaurants.Just down the road are several museums and The Albert Hall and Hyde Park are also within walking distance.
Excellent location, one minute walk to Gloucester Road Tube Station. Very comfortable room with bath. We asked for a quiet room, and it was very quiet. Helpful staff. Delicious self service breakfast.
