A Hidden gem

I picked this hotel at random as it was close to Kind Cross Station, but having found it I'll stay there every time I'm in London. Lovely room, great bathroom, friendly helpful young staff, great breakfast. Very much recommended.

Client Dinner of 30

I booked the private dining room for a group of thirty. We had previously been at an all day conference, so having somewhere to come eat good food, have a nice drink and relax was very much needed! We had wanted the Mezzanine door open to feel more open and this as soon as this was requested someone came and opened it. The food was delicious and everyone had a good time.

Lovely hotel in Kings Cross

I've stayed at The Megaro twice: first time with my family in a large comfortable apartment away from the main building, second time solo in a cozy room on the 2nd floor. I love this hotel, pretty much everything about it, from the lobby area, the amenities, the breakfast, the rooms, the location. I think of it as my "home" in London and look forward to staying there again the next time I visit.

Subjectives are strong with this one

Our trip took us in and out of St. Pancras, so staying nearby was important. Likewise, being in an area near the Underground. We are not hotel "snobs" so we tend to look for practicality over amenities.

The staff is terrific, as is the location. The room we had was "quiet" as we requested. It faced the interior and overlooked other apartments. I suspect being on the main street would be louder, but we didn't test it out.

The room we had was somewhat "rough around the edges" with some normal wear and tear. Everything worked, though. The bed was comfortable and there was plenty of room to unpack.

There's a small restaurant downstairs that serves breakfast (and other meals). The area is busy, but this is London.

Convenient and acceptable for our purposes. If the remodel the rooms, this will be dynamite.
