Huge rooms and a great location!

This is on a quiet side street and yet it's a 2-3 minute walk to Kings Cross (Eurostar). My room was HUGE by both London and any other standard. Comfortable, and with a good size bathroom. They provide snacks and having delicious room service was welcomed after a long day of travel.

Wow - loved every minute of our stay

Gorgeous boutique hotel perfectly located and with incredibly friendly and helpful staff. Rooms are incredibly large especially for London with great amenities. We enjoyed every minute of our working three days at the Megaro

Great place to stay

Very nice and welcoming staff, loved modern look of the room! Also, it was near everything I needed to visit and on the plus side - well connected via Underground. Would recommend it for a cosy and comfortable stay.

Great stay

Everything was very good: the friendly and professional reception, the comfort of the bedding, the decoration of the deluxe rooms and the bathroom, the availability of flavored water and fruit at the reception, the location near King Cross...

Business stay at the Megaro
Reviewed 1 week ago

I stayed at the Megaro for the first time as I was working on Tottenham Court Road so a convenient location.
I found the staff I dealt with when booking over the telephone incredibly helpful and very efficient. Likewise the reception staff. A very pleasant informal attitude which was a refreshing change.
I wasn't so impressed the stairway/corridor which could have been cleaner.
The room was pleasant but a little shabby. The carpet between room and en suite was badly frayed and the bathroom was not as clean as I am used to. There was black mould in some areas around the shower and also the sink. The surface around the sink and the taps were old and could have done with being replaced/refurbished.
I found that the water in the sink and shower was only luke warm during the evening and morning which was disappointing.
The bed was very comfortable.
Breakfast was a big disappointment. The staff serving were not very friendly and the standard of service was very poor with long waits. This was made worse as there was no self service.
Although the menu said freshly baked bread my two slices of brown toast were out of a packet and not very pleasant; also cold when they arrived and only partially toasted.
There was no vegetarian option on the menu which was disappointing.
The portions of berry granola were incredibly small and frankly not worth eating. No cereal options.
Staff were getting irritated with other guests who were complaining they had been waiting too long for their cooked breakfast.
I was seated on a vinyl banquette that was ripped and not very clean. I would have expected much better for a hotel of this standard.
Breakfast was an unforgettable experience and would probably put me off staying in the Megaro again.
