Not recommended at all

Stayed at Limehouse apartments in September, firstly we had booked a 2 bedroom apartment with a balcony, there was no balcony, their advertising is misleading, the fridge and freezer were dirty, the bathroom was dirty, the smell in the corridors was unbearable (especially when walking into the building). It's on a very busy road which made sleeping or just trying to relax in the apartment difficult. It was also difficult to get hold of the staff. For the price we paid, we could have stayed somewhere much nicer but instead we ended up paying double as we left the apartment 3 days early and checked into a hotel on Canary Wharf. Will not recommend these apartments to anyone or will we ever stay there again.

....but some things to be aware of!
Reviewed 3 weeks ago

There are quite a lot of things to like about these apartments. They are clean and relatively spacious and have all the necessary equipment. We had apartments that opened up onto a nice central courtyard and were therefore totally insulated from the busy and noisy road outside. There is a secure entrance and reception was always staffed. We were going to a concert at the Troxy which is almost directly opposite so the location was perfect.
There are, however, things to be aware of. Check in is not till three in the afternoon and check out an early 10.30 the next morning. This means you get less than 18 hours with the room for your money. We arrived about 50 minutes before 3.00pm with a disabled old lady who needed to gain access to her room. We were told that as we wanted to check in early we had to pay another £30. We found this outrageous as the room was already clean and ready. Only after a lot of discussion did they let us in without additional payment. You should also note that if you want to check out at 11.30 or mid day ( i.e, a normal check out time in most hotels) then there are signs around telling you that this will cost another £60!
Add to this the fact that you are obliged to put down £200 per room security deposit and the overall feel is rather lacking in customer focus and value. Indeed we felt that whereas the accommodation was fine it was not amazing value for what we paid.
There is some paid street parking nearby but there in no hotel car park and only a limited drop off facility where it is unclear whether and if you are allowed to leave your car.
So, much to like and hence the 4 stars as it served its purpose for us but we would think carefully about booking again.

Great bolt hole for the weekend

I booked this place for the family on a weekend break and on reflection thought it was fantastic. It was a one bed premier apartment which had loads of space... a living room and kitchen, a separate bedroom and bathroom. I paid for extra WiFi and it was seemless from the great staff( very friendly) to the flexibility. It’s East London so slightly out of centre but the DLR to bank is soooo fast and it’s only 5 mins walk from the station. There’s an awesome cafe on the corner and two or three supermarkets to stock up on provisions ... easy, clean, spacious ... what’s not to like.

Excellent stay

Visited this place just for 2 days on business trip to Canary Wharf , very close 5 min from DLR line, Clean n comfortable stay. I travel for work a lot thus prefer to stay at apartment then hotel and this is ideal for anyone travelling to East London.

I had a wonderful stay with my friends in Marlin Limehouse, we went for a week to London to drop my sister for her college and stayed here as it was close to central london and had all facilities which are required to stay at an apartment comfortably, staff was very helpful and guided us with everything with respect to room.
