What a crazy experience!

We went through a lot with this hotel. The first apartment we were given had broken curtains and a TV that wouldn't work. After an arguement when the service guy couldn't repair it,we got another apartment where the some of the spot lights wouldn't work.It was a downgrade from the previous with a dingy settings ,tiny kitchen, smaller fridge. The evening receptionist was soo rude as well.We were so irritated and had an argument with the manager. He then made up for everything by giving us an amazing apartment with a stunning balcony with views of the city and late check out of 3pm. We were extremely happy with our stay after this and thank the manager for his support. He turned our stay from a disaster to truly enjoyable!

Having booked an apartment last minute I was really pleased to find the two bedroom apartment really spacious and absolutely spotless.

I would definitely stay there again. Really good value for money and great location - less than 5 minutes walk to nearest tube station.

Special offer deal made this a very good stay

If you can get these studios/apartments on a special rate then they are cracking value. Otherwise the rack-rate is extortionate.
If you can, then head for Borough tube south of the river (Northern Line) cross the main road and head down Long Lane. It’s a 5 minute walk. You will be asked for ID and a heavy deposit which you can put on Credit Card, but it would have been nice to have been told beforehand, but checkin was efficient, even if it did feel like an interview!
I booked a studio, but was allocated a 1 bed apartment - nice. I felt safe and secure, on the 2nd floor, with the door locked and chained behind me.
I had a hall, bathroom, bedroom, and a kitchen-diner surprisingly well appointed with knives, forks, plates, cups, saucers, pots and pans and cooking utensils, a cooker, microwave, fridge freezer and washing machine and tea and coffee stuff. All rather splendid. There was also a table and chairs, and a comfy sofa to relax and watch free view tat all night!
As it was I went to the Tesco Metro next door and bought lots of picky cold stuff, but cooking would have been easy too.
It was warm, clean and well presented. The bathroom had some nice smellies to.
All in all highly recommended, although my bed needed replacing. I don’t know how many bed-nights they budget for, but when you can hear the individual springs moving you know it’s time for a new mattress, so Marlin, if your listening, Room 37 needs a new mattress.
Finally, someone had been smoking in the bathroom, I suppose the logic is that there’s an extractor fan in there, but those of us who don’t smoke find it disgusting and we can sniff it our from miles away. So Marlin, again, if your are reading this, (and you should be) please clamp down on these selfish, disrespectful, anti-social idiots, and if you are a smoker, get off your fat backside and go outside and smoke.

A little disappointing

We have stayed in these apartments numerous times over the past 3 years and always been very happy. This time however the apartments public areas were looking a bit tired and generally a bit smelly. Our apartment was on the first floor no view and quite noisy as it was at the back .... during the day with the rooftop school playground and at night with drunks. The apartment ok comfortable and clean but fit the price I will definitely look at other options
