How to Get There
Good views of London, spacious apartment with a big balcony and all facilities were available and working in every room. The staff were very helpful and booking/check in was so easy. It is the perfect apartment if you are planning a night out in London with a group of friends...couldn’t fault it. We will definitely book again.
This hotel was a perfect find for our over night family trip into the heart of London. after a busy day in the city it was great to arrive to an apartment that had every thing we needed, and had all the warmth of home. It was great to sit in the bay window an watch the snow rolling into the city.
Full kitchen and washing machine, plus Sky TV to keep the little people amused.
We booked the penthouse apartment and was not disappointed. It's in a good location close to Aldgate East station and 15 minutes walk to Tower Bridge. The room was a good size with good views, clean and light. Having a fully equipped kitchen including washer/dryer is a real bonus. The staff are friendly and helpful. Couldn't have asked for more, and at a reasonable price for central London.
I just want to re-iterate what my friend said about our stay at these apartments last weekend. The apartment itself was lovely and had no complaints about that, but it was the fact that a member of staff entered our room while we were out on the Sunday morning and when we got back to the room later that day , my friends purse which had over £100 in it had gone! The reception staff didn’t seem to believe us and the guy went with my friend back to the room to search it again and of course it was not there as SOMEBODY had taken it! It was not dealt with in a professional manner as the guy on reception kept saying he trusted his staff and in other words they weren’t to blame. The fact that they admitted that a girl from reception had entered our apartment when they knew we were not there, I’m afraid stinks. That door was locked when we left the room in the morning , and so the only people who could have entered it , was a member of staff who had access to a key. In hindsight we should have called the police , but we were pressed for time and the fact there was no cctv, meant we had no evidence of what happened when the receptionist went into our room earlier. It really put a very sour taste in our mouth !
What was an enjoyable stay in these apartments over weekend of 27 - 29 April was ruined when my purse was stolen from my apartment on Sunday morning. On reporting this I was told that apartment was found to be unlocked when a member of staff checked it earlier, but that was definitely not the case, my friend locked it and I watched her do it. I was not satisfied with the way staff at the desk dealt with the issue. Won't be staying here again and won't be recommending it to friends or family.
