How to Get There
We stayed 2 nights at the Mandarin Oriental Hyde Park.
We are going often to London and I’ve tried most of the 5 stars Hotel.
I have to say that since the Mandarin in London Reopened one month ago, it’s the best.
Everything have been renovated, my room was A hyde Park view and it was perfect.
The Staff of the hotel is adorable, Nigel the Concierge will find you the best tips in the city and the Hotel Manager, Mr Devillers was here during our stay and makes this hotel in a absolutely perfection.
The Spa is also incredible with a pool, jacuzzi and gym.
The Location is 2 min walking distance to Harrods.
And what a view on Hype Park.
you can see in the morning the Royal Horse Guards going to Buckingham Palace.
Thanx to the great team
A beautifully renovated hotel in a fantastic location in Knightsbridge. The rooms are spacious and cosy with great bath amenities.
The service was outstanding, all smiles and kindness. The Bar is a must-see with delicious cocktails. It was a perfect stay and I only wish I could have stayed longer.
Nice Hotel but quite few negatives. Check in was disorganized, received an upgrade only after I complained about the street noise of the first room that was showed. Bathrooms are super small which is not acceptable in a Hotel of this price! Yes , Rooms are renovated but you can hear EVERY singe noise from the hallway from your bed so I didn't get a good quality of sleep , room lay outs are not efficient ,no turndown service ( at least during my stay ) , and bathrooms floor were dusty.
For the price so many better hotels in the area that will offer a truly luxurious experience.
My wife and I just returned home after finishing a three week trip with a stay at the Mandarin Oriental Hyde Park, London. What a high note to finish on. This is a truly outstanding hotel in an almost ideal location in Knightsbridge, practically across the street from both Harrod's, Sloane St, and Hyde Park. That's quite a trifecta. Not only are the rooms, public areas, and restaurants all beautiful after recent renovations, but there are also a very good gym and swimming pool. Additionally, and most importantly, the service at this hotel is simply incredible. We have traveled all over the world and stayed in topnotch luxury hotels everywhere, but I have never seen more attentive, intuitive, and genuinely warm service in any of them. It was easy to get used to and hard to leave behind. This is our new favorite hotel in London and we will look forward to our next visit.
From the moment we entered this incredible building we were treated like royalty. The food and service was exceptional. We opted for the Sake Afternoon Tea where you pay around an extra £15 supplement but it was well worth the money. At no point so you feel rushed and the staff regularly check to see if everything is ok and if you want anything refilled (food and drink). If you are looking for an afternoon tea in London I highly recommend this place.
