I know the location garners a higher price, but the price tag for a one night stay was not value for money, especially given the price tag for the parking on top. That said, the hotel is stylish, comfortable and relaxed.

Good stay but two areas of disappointment
Reviewed 4 days ago

Check in went quickly and smoothly, although they had me listed as a Gold member of the Marriott program and I asked them to double check to confirm I was Platinum which they did. Room and bathroom were both clean and reasonably sized. Picked the quiet side of the hotel but on occasion heard sirens and other street noises.

Enjoyed using the Executive Lounge. Breakfast was an expanded continental with a good selection that was replenished whenever I was there. During the evening there were two hot appetizers which rotated along with breads, cheeses, crackers, grapes, drinks, deserts, etc. I read other reviews with some complaints, but I did not experience any concerns and enjoyed the convenience.

The first area of disappointment was the lack of ventilation in the bathroom. I don't like hot showers, but even with the water temperature lukewarm, the mirrors fogged up badly. It felt like the tropics trapping heat and humidity. The bathroom door closes semi automatically, so to clear the bathroom it's necessary to prop the door open. Definitely something I found unsatisfactory, especially when trying to shave and not being able to see myself in the mirror and also in trying to dry off.

The other area is a minor inconvenience- the lack of much storage space to unpack. If you stay for a longer period of time or just bring a lot of clothes, you may have to keep some clothing in your suitcase.

Mattress was fine, although I don't like having a comforter without a top sheet. For me, I don't like a warm-ish room (the thermostat was set to the lowest heat setting) and not having the option of just using a top sheet without additional warmth.

Tube stop is close by and there are enough services within reasonable walking distance.

What a family friendly place

I’m a globalist which means I need to spend at least 70~80 nights in hotel. I will say good hotel must have good service team. I think Rogents Park their first line team is great. However, during the weekend we call technician and it took us two days to fix the standing light. They don't have good executive lounge (vs. their premium brand image). I hope the hotel can more focus on this little detail. Thanks a lot! Location is great!

Standard hotel

It is standard hotel... breakfast below expectation, when I asked for salad they gave me an old lettuce on a plate without any dressing as if they serving a "goat"...! they didn't take into consideration that I am SPG Platinum Member who will not accept such bad service...

Great family hotel

Stayed as a family of four (2 adults, kids 11 & 13) for a weekend.

Large, well appointed, clean room with balcony. Great decor. Smart bathroom.

Lobby and bar area comfortable and well designed. Charging points everywhere.
Bar a bit overpriced and slow service.

Breakfast superb, but again, a little overpriced.

Nice pool area.

Close to Swiss Cottage station (<5mins walk). Nice walks to Primrose Hill.

Great family hotel.
