Our stay here started quite well. Its a lovely impressive hotel with a nice reception area. A man brought us a bottle of water as we were checking in. The lady behind the desk was friendly and asked us what kind of room we wanted. I explained that I'd booked a balcony room and requested a good view. We got a view of some astroturf on a roof and the room opposite. Not worth sitting on the balcony to look at, quite frankly. So that was pointless.
The room itself was quite nice, although slightly on the small side. Clean, tidy, with a comfy bed. I liked the multi-European plug sockets, handy for our friends in Europe visiting. There was a comfy chair to sit in and a good sized telly. The bathroom was a good size and the shower hot and powerful. However, there was a shower curtain instead of a screen, which annoys me cos they cling to you and get sucked in by the water when its on. The worst thing though, was the annoying alarm going off in the room at 11.00pm just as we were settling down to sleep. No explanation for it. It wasn't a fire alarm, we hadn't pushed any buttons or left the fridge open.
The other thing this hotel loses points on is that there is no free wifi in the rooms (unless you sign up to their loyalty scheme - and who wants to do that and be bombarded by useless emails). I tried to connect to the wifi in the reception area but again it wanted you to enter your email address and create an account. Sorry, not doing that. Just get with the times, Marriott, and offer free wifi like 90% of other hotels do.
PS. Parking cost us £33 for 24 hours - just to warn you.

Very comfortable hotel

Stayed two nights at the London Marriott Regents Park and would definitely recommend it. First of all, the location. It is just around the corner from Swiss Cottage tube stop, on the Jubilee line, and in a quiet residential area yet just a couple of stops from Bond Street station.
I arrived at the hotel at 10am, expecting not to have my room ready, but it was, which was absolutely fantastic. I was on the 4th floor, and the room had a small balcony. The room was big, with a large sofa, plenty of space, very nicely decorated in a modern style. The bathroom was on the small side, with shower only, but perfectly adequate. As usual at Marriott hotels, the sleep quality is outstanding. Excellent beds and pillows. Unfortunately, wifi and breakfast were not included in my rate. Breakfast is served at a Carluccio's restaurant on site and at the time cost about £15. I opted for a walk to the nearest Pret a Manger for a great breakfast for less than half the money. The hotel has a large indoor pool which was really popular and therefore quite crowded, a good gym and a hairdresser's. The hotel is quite pricey, but if it's within your price range,I would definitely recommend it.

Wonderful stay.
