Great location and classic Hilton
Reviewed 3 hours ago

Hotel is located in the Mayfair district of London, lots of upscale hotels in the area.

5 minutes walk from Hyde Park Corner which is served directly by the Piccadilly line from Heathrow airport (about 1hr travel time).

Arrived at about 9am to check in / drop bags. Received a very warm welcome from Roberto at the front desk acknowledging status and instantly applying an upgrade to our originally booked room. The room was obviously not available this early so we checked them in with Concierge and left to visit the city. On our return at 1.30pm a room was made available so we were able to check in and our bags were delivered promptly to the room.

We were given a good sized deluxe room on an Hilton Honors floor, very spacious with king bed and views across Hyde Park and North London. Plenty of amenities for hot drinks as well as bottled water.

Executive lounge was excellent with a very good afternoon tea (including gluten free options for my wife). We did not try the canapés as we had food out but returned to make use of the excellent drink selection.

Breakfast was plentiful with lots of choice, including a nice touch of fresh honey from a honeycomb. Check out was fast and efficient. An excellent stay at this classic hotel.

Service was excellent. Dinner on the 28th floor at Galvin at Windows...fabulous! I recommend it. Location is great, easy access to Hyde Park, downtown London, all the must see tourist spots. Victoria station is close for those that like riding a train. Two thumbs up!

Fabulous stay!!

Our stay started off perfectly by being able to check-in early after a long international flight and an upgrade. It is within a 5 minute walk to the Hyde Park Corner tube station if needed. The room is nice, the bathroom is a little small but typical for European style. Great executive lounge and exercise facilities. The location can't be beat and especially the views!!!

The bedroom isn’t worthy of a 2 star

Booked this hotel as we were at a concert at Hyde park so 15 minutes walk back and glad to lie down and not be soaking wet.
I’ve checked the rest of the photos on tripadvisor and can’t find any that even looks like the room we are in. It’s an absolute disgrace, the carpets are stained, the wallpaper is ripped and marked, the furniture is marked and old, the curtains dont close properly as it’s come off the rail. The bathroom has stained walls and tiles marked and disgusting and grubby. If I had booked a 2 star hotel I would be less disappointed, this is supposed to be a 5 star hotel. I’ve never seen anything like it before.
