Grim !!
Reviewed 4 days ago

Grubby ! saying it's tired is being kind. Virtually no water from shower, TV didn't work. Bedroom was single glazed so very noisy. Thought the floor above was going to cave in. Breakfast was inedible. Baked beans served from same server as porridge and mushrooms ?? Do yourself a favour and stay somewhere else! Way to expensive for a low budget experience

Your reservation is worthless

Reserved 2 weeks in advance through Agoda. I paid in full at time i made the reservation. I arrived around 9 PM and was told they were over booked and i was being moved to another sister property. That property had bad reviews so i went back to Agoda and had them find me a room elsewhere. Major pain in the butt since I ended up in an area quite far from where I wanted to stay.

Regardless, the reservation is one way... theirs.

2 other customers where in the lobby working same overbooking issue with their booking service.

on a side note, the hotel did pay for the taxi to the next hotel.

Awful experience. Booked through hotels.com as room offered was a £246 room discounted to £146. Room very poor - dirty, smelly, stained carpets, chipped furniture, half made up folding bed left in room, blocked shower. Clearly this room cannot normally be £245, more like £50. Staff unhelpful. Manager I asked to see never turned up. Man at desk next morning unhelpful. I feel I have been cheated.DONT STAY HERE!!

DO NOT STAY HERE!!!!!,!,!,!,! Wouldn’t even give it 1 star. HORRIBLE

Booked this as it was close to every thing and was recommended by a trusted company Qantas. I will be complaining to them also. Booked and paid for six months in advance yet when we arrive at checkin time on the day they didn’t have the double room we had booked ready. We were asked to leave our suitcases and a room would be ready upon our return. As we had a tour booked we had to leave our suit cases out side the toilet door in a hall way. No where secure to leave our belonging. On our return at 730 we we were told still no double room available. Given a very crappy room with 4 very very poor quality single beds and the toilet wouldn’t flush properly. We complained and was given 4 other room to look at. All in the same condition as the first Asked to speak to management. Told they would not be in till Monday. It was Saturday so 2 days before we are able to speak to anybody in authority. Asked for a refund. Told only management could approve this on Monday. They offered us a free meal to compensate in the adjoining restaurant. As it was Saturday and our only option was to spend the night here we said we would take that offer and took our belongings to the room and returned to eat only to be told this offer had been disappronved by the management, the same that wasn’t available until Monday funnily enough. Crappy staff. No customer service. Stay at your own peril.

AVOID AVOID AVOID, worst hotel I have ever seen!

Got moved from their sister hotel the Collonade who had no room for me when I went to check in, that hotel was very grubby for a 4 star.

Arrived at this 'hotel', receptionist was not expecting which is not his fault. However, he was most unhelpful and rude. Disappeared for 15 minutes. When he came back I challenged him to the fact that on their website there was a room available, at £987!! I did not care, there problem, not mine.

He denied it, I again challenged him. He then somehow found a room! Surprise surprise!

I thought I might have lucked out on a nice suite but nope, a dingy, dirty room, the tv was broke, bed linen filthy, you could hear everything in the other rooms, including toilet. Was right beside the lift which was very annoying.

Only I was so tired I would have just walked out.

An utter sham and disgrace if a hotel
