If you are looking for a place that feels like you are staying at your wealthy friend's townhouse in London, then this is the place. Everything is spotless, tight and interesting, right down the light switches, literally. The related hotels are the city are excellent too. Look up via firmsdale hotels. This is a well priced hotel, in an excellent area and it perfect if you like style and beauty while spending most of your day out touring.

Nice hotel

Very nice hotel close to Harrods. Very kind staff. Small rooms tastefully furnished. Very good Wi-Fi connection. We had no problem with breakfast because the staff invited us to order it in the room. Not good soundproofing: people can be heard walking upstairs. And the shower is in the bathtub. Price a little big high but through tripadvisor around 300 pounds per night

Lovely stopover in London

This hotel is on a quiet street a 5 min walk from Harrods. The staff are superb and the room was lovely. The bed was super comfy and I had loads of room thanks to an upgrade. The room got the morning sunshine so was warm and cosy.

I love staying at the Firmdale hotels as they are a treat in themselves. For a small hotel it was perfect.

Perfect location, lovely rooms, excellent high tea

Just stayed two nights at the Knightsbridge. The location is perfect, a couple of blocks away from Harrod's and Hyde Park, yet tucked away in one of the gorgeous side streets which dot the area. We always find it amazing how the hustle and bustle of London disappears as soon as we turn onto streets such as Beaufort Gardens.

The rooms are comfortable and well appointed, but we especially enjoyed the beautiful, elegant public rooms of the hotel. And we highly recommend the high tea served in the library in the afternoons. The finger sandwiches, scones and sweets were some of the best we have had in London; paired with a glass of champagne, it's a perfect way to unwind in the afternoon before catching an evening show.

As a side note, this hotel is also convenient if you plan to take the Tube to/from Heathrow. Just walk a few minutes to the Knightsbridge station, and take a direct train (Piccadilly line) to the airport (total travel time ~1 hour, just £6 each way at the time of writing).

Beautiful hidden gem in stylish Knightsbridge

We had a great stay at the Knightsbridge Hotel, it’s a lovely boutique hotel tucked away in a gorgeous residential street in stylish Knightsbridge. Close to Harrod’s, the high street and the tube it was in central and convenient location yet was a quiet and peaceful hotel that felt like a little haven.

Our room was quite small, but beautifully decorated and with a great size bathroom. Great shower pressure (not always a given in London!) and lovely amenities. Very comfortable bed. One thing I loved was that the window opened - I hate staying in hotels where you cannot have fresh air and loved being able to have the window open.

The hotel staff could not have been more friendly and accommodating, every interaction with them was excellent.

Overall, we really enjoyed our stay and would stay here again - winning location, comfortable room and great service.
