High class without arrogance

We were fortunate enough to stay here whilst attending a concert at hyde park. 5 minutes walk from knightsbridge tube on a very quiet leafy road. The staff at reception were delightful. We were too early to check in but we were able to leave our luggage and use the facilities. On returning we found our bags had been put in our room.the room was immaculate and beautifully decorated. The mini bar was 5* and like no other I had seen. We took advantage of being able to have breakfast in our room which felt very decadent! Beautiful breakfast with 2 big pots of tea. Again the staff who brought us the food were delightful and we felt were genuinely interested in our plans. The shower was great and the 'rik rak' toiletries delicious, we will definitely be ordering some. All in all a very high end experience which we would 100% recommend

Afternoon tea in a unique boutique hotel
Reviewed 2 weeks ago

My friend and I booked an afternoon tea here based on the location and the interior pictures seen on the internet. When we arrived, we were welcome by Dennis, the kind, caring and lovely guest relation officer who showed us the uniquely decorated and stylish lobbies of the hotel and told us a brief and interesting story about the hotel and the founders. One of the hotel owners is Kit Kemp. She is also an interior designer and her work stuns. We had tea with her wedgwood cups, it felt special. Everything was so lively and warm. The place was cozy and unlike other extremely busy places serving tea. You can really enjoy your moment with friends here.
Dennis was so kind and let us taste other tea than what we ordered too. If you like, they also have champagne. The tea itself, honestly, wasn't extraordinarily special but it was good. I give 8/10 for the tea, 12/10 to the interior, and 200/10 to the lovely hospitality. Not disappointed and will recommend to friends who are tired of busy and crowded place to enjoy their truly peaceful moment in a creative space for an afternoon tea that's so well-priced.

Hotel is located on a quiet residential side street & is perfect in every way. The staff is amazing and always available. The rooms are wonderful.(bed very comfortable). Our bathroom was very large and modern. There is a nice honor bar with high quality alcohol & wines. They do serve a breakfast but we never did it. This hotel is very close to the Victoria & Albert Museum, tons of restaurants, lots of shopping & Sloane Street. Highly recommend!!!!

A Gem

Great hotel. The staff makes you feel like family and the decor maintains that feeling. The rooms are wonderful as is the service. Many of the rooms have walk in showers which is a big selling point since in England it is often difficult to climb into and out of shower which is in the tub.The location couldn't be better. In one direction, a short walk to the tube and Harrods; a slightly longer walk in the other direction to the V&A and other museums.

A Quiet, Peaceful Island In The Middle of Crazy, Chaotic London

A friend suggested we stay at this small boutique hotel in Knightsbridge, so we booked 5 nights and now, after 3 nights, it's clearly the best, most relaxing, most invigorating place we've stayed in London over the past 30 years. It is tucked amoung charming townhomes on a quiet side street. The staff were friendly, helpful and eager to make our stay as pleasant as possible. It's an old fashioned place; the bar is an "Honor Bar" that asks guests to write down whatever drink they may have poured for themselves. When is the last time you've seen that in a big city? The breakfasts are simple and perfect, the lunch menu is also limited but quite delicious. Today for lunch my wife and I shared a Pea Soup with Mint and Smoked Scottish Salmon that was absolutely perfect. When we wanted to book a tour, the front desk employee, Chris, went out of his way to make sure we could find a tour that fit our interests and time table. We'll suggest this hotel to anyone who asks us where to stay in London.
