Pleasant surprise

This was our first stay at Kwest as we normally stay in Leicester Square but on this visit we were going to the BBC Studios at Wood Lane and thought this hotel would be more convenient. We didn’t know what to expect and had no expectations, we booked an embassy suite as we love coffee and the room has a coffee machine, which is perfect. On arrival we checked in quickly and the staff were efficient and friendly. We were given our room cards and popped up to our room on the 5th floor. The room was very clean and light well furnished and welcoming we loved it. There is a well stocked mini bar and snack case which even contains gluten free choices which is perfect for me and reasonably priced. Plenty of plugs and usb sockets. We used the bar in the evening for cocktails and food all of which we highly recommend. The super king bed was very very comfortable, so much so we didn’t really want to get up. We had continental breakfast and even gluten free toast was available. All in all a great hotel and we will recommend and return.

Disappointing

This hotel does not quite know what it wants to be, Spa destination or night club. We initially had an exec double room which was of a poor standard, very tired looking with smashed floor tiles in the bathroom which looked very off putting and unhygienic and curtains hanging off the rail. We did raise this with reception who i have to say were very reactive and apologetic and we were moved to another room which was better but not of a quality I would expect. The spa was closed when we were there due to a leak and the general condition of the surrounding corridors was again very poor, looking very tired and worn. In the evening the bar which is directly opposite reception (so it doubles an area where people are arriving and leaving some what detracting from its purpose) becomes, wether you like it or not a nightclub, so don't come here expecting a relaxing spa environment as there is no where else to go in the hotel other than your room and the music is deafening. I would say however the staff were all great with good service in the bar and restaurant. we did raise all these points with the DM during our stay who acknowledged our points and offered us a return stay at a discount, but just not for us i'm afraid.

I had such an amazing stay at K west
Myself and my friend booked this trip to do Christmas Shopping as the hotel is a 3 minute walk to the famous Westfield shopping centre
And so close to Oxford Street to see the lights and more shopping!
After an exhausting day a visit to the spa was more than needed then cocktails and diner
And to really top the stay off we had breakfast in bed before heading off
Thank you
See you next year
