Fabulous Weekend!
Reviewed 2 days ago

Wow... where to start!
On arrival at the hotel (I had previously filled in a registration form online stating that it was my birthday weekend) we were greeted by the lovely receptionist, I think she was called Zita, we were bowled over by the attention to detail.. upgraded to a suite and a bottle of complimentary wine sent to our room.

The room... everything you would expect from a 5* the beds were very comfortable.

I genuinely cannot fault the wonderful staff at this hotel, nothing is to much trouble, even when having to deal with the most difficult guests (witnessed in the bar)

Thank you so much for a wonderful weekend, you made my birthday very memorable!

Special mentions to the reception, bar staff and housekeeping, such fantastic customer service! We will be back.

A good priced stay

We all love the experience of staying in London’s finest 5 star hotels like the Berkeley, the Lanesborough, Milestone etc, however yes this is 5 star but it’s the sister off branch to the Jumeriah. So it doesn’t come with quite the facilities on site nor the concierge service however being able to book a room for £191 in advance and be bang in the centre of Knightsbridge! What more can you ask for. Its clean, very modern décor (yes not romantic) but its serves a great purpose and I personally use this hotel frequently. You have the use of the pool and spa across the road, literally 1 min walk and is ideal if your visiting London and need somewhere to stay and your out and about. The breakfast is nice and the service is what you would expect from the Jumeriah.

Great Stay

I stayed at the Lowndes for a business trip and was very impressed with the hotel. We were upgraded to the two room suite and it was delightful. the decor of the rooms and bathroom were modern and new. Word of caution is be careful with the food and especially room service as it can end up being expensive.

Tired decor, needs renovating

This hotel may pass the test as an official five star, but in reality it’s more like a 3 star.
Small rooms, old fashioned grey, purple & brown decor, and slow lifts are not appealing.
Beds are not overly comfortable. There is natural light via large windows but they only open a smidgen to let air in.
There is a lovely restaurant area on the street which is al fresco & gorgeous in summer.
Staff are good but not amazing.
The best aspect of a stay is the gym in the sister hotel - brilliant equipment& staff & views over London. I’d stay here again only for the gym access.

Hidden Gem

This is a great hotel, tucked away off Piccadilly Circle, about four blocks away from the tube. The rooms are spacious, modern and comfortable; the staff is stellar, and the room rates, at least for my stay, were highly competitive. You won't be disappointed.
