Best Concierge Ever

Dario Javinar went beyond the call of duty to have my handbag successfully retrieved and returned from a black cab. I am so very grateful and can't say enough good things about his service. We look forward to our next stay at this wonderful hotel.

Class and comfort
Reviewed 4 days ago

There are luxury hotels and there are hotels that are true class. Jumeirah Carlton Tower is an establishment of the highest order in a city blessed with many remarkable hotel properties. The location is sensational being in Knightsbridge on Cadogan Park and Sloane Street. It’s only 4 minutes walk to the back of Harrods and Harvey Nichols, and of course the Underground station. We frequently walk in the other direction to Sloane Square for a bite to eat and that’s only 8 mins away as well. Hyde Park is within about 8 mins too. The hotel has a charm about it that hard to describe, I’ve travelled to over 40 countries over the last 25 years and stayed in some fabulous places, and what sets the Jumeirah Carlton Tower apart is its warmth of character. It sounds like a cliche but this hotel is truly like a “home away from home” in terms of comfort. You feel like you’ve been swept up in a movie in terms of glamour and class. This is refined luxury at its best. The service standards from the front desk, concierge, in-room dining, and house keeping are the best I’ve seen anywhere. Its the service ethic of the staff and the culture of pride in the hotel that stands out. The lobby is functional and festive with guests and visitors coming and going. The lift service is always prompt. The rooms are thoughtfully appointed and designed. The beds are extremely comfortable. The toiletries are Milton Brown and plentiful. The air conditioning works perfectly and the windows open if you want fresh air. The gym is not your usual ‘hotel gym’ but a properly fitted-out fitness club used by non-guest members which makes it lively and vibrant. The whole JCT experience is brilliant. I’ve recommended this property to my friends and they all now stay at the hotel as well and love it.

Discovering new 5 star hotels in London
Reviewed 7 days ago

Compared to the 5 star hotels that I do in London, my room was very very small and not luxurious (unlike the hotel I did from the same owner in Dubai), but is was very clean. My curtains were closed on arrival. Understandable: I had a horrible sight (facade of a building in recovery) Valise of my daughter was damaged at the pick-up concierge departure: initially they did not find the valise, my daughter went along and found that she was dropped somewhere under a cupboard ( hence probably the damage ...) I have comforted her by saying that valleys always refrain from traveling ... but it is not because it is not LV that one deals with a suitcase. Plus points of the hotel: locations (next to shop street of designers), excellent restaurant, large swimming pool, excellent breakfast with quality products (one of the best breakfasts I have used in a 5 star hotel)

Brilliant afternoon
Reviewed 3 weeks ago

We booked a high tea for two people. From start to finish it was excellent. The staff were very professional and polite. The whole ambiance was perfect. There was a lady playing a harp in the background, nice touch. The sandwiches, cakes and scones were delicious, a very good selection. The champagne and coffee was also good. We were given a top up of cakes etc. We left very fat and full. We had a great afternoon, a lovely treat. We would recommend this high tea as one of the best that we have had.
