Excellent hotel - Restaurant closed indefinitely
Reviewed 3 days ago

The hotel is great, rooms are great, staff are excellent all in all lived up to expectations however the website and all online documentation point towards there being a restaurant on-site. This is now incorrect as it is closed for good.

Paid £230 for a two night stay! While we was going to see a concert in twickenham. Good points Easy check in, comfy bed, bad points: carpet was filthy in are room! I can understand with having light carpets but they should be regularly cleaned paying so much money! Ares had loads off stains on. Next bad point building site next door and we faced it, you could hear it with window open or shut, and unlucky for us we ain’t to keen on air con as it blocks us up! So we couldn’t even open are window was so loud! Furniture looked abit tatty in are Room on the corners.

Nice hotel!

Very nice hotel - comfortable room. Bit of maintenance going on outside the hotel but didn’t hear anything over the weekend, just on Monday morning. Wasn’t fussed though. The only downside was the swimming pool/ gym was not on site, it was at an external gym. Thought they should just advertise that, unless I missed it on the website. But that was the only downside as we were looking forward to a swim.

Lovely hotel - funny smell? Un-comfy pillows
Reviewed 5 days ago

Overall the hotel was lovely. Good location, clean and modern.

We paid £106.25 for a Saturday night as we were heading to a concert at Twickenam.

The towels were lovely, big and fluffy! Toiletries provided along with face clothes. Tea/coffee was also provided..... but NO bottle of water - which when booking was mentioned in the info.

There was a funny 'poo' smell in the corridor by our room.

We had to pay a £20 deposit which was refunded on check-out. Found this a bit weird as most hotels you don't have to do this...only apartments.

The room was big enough for one night for two people.
The pillows seemed a bit on the cheap side and weren't very comfy...would be good to be provided with one soft and one firm pillow...instead we had two soft pillows which were not very well filled. Again the matress was on the 'cheap' side.
The shower ran hot and cold in the morning but was fine in the evening, perhaps due to the amount of people showering in the morning.
If anyone walks past your room at any time talking - you can hear them.
The air-con was very good - really appreciate it with how hot it was!

The hotel staff were pleasant - receptionist was pretty busy when we arrived and the lady at the front desk had to call to find us a room that was ready....odd as we had booked and it was after 2pm!

The location was good, plenty of shops/places to eat.

We parked around a 5 min walk away next to the morrisons car park which was £7 for 24 hours. (The hotel advised us to park in the multi storey opposite here, which we tried but the attendant in the car park advised us that you could only stay 24 hours+ if pre you booked.... a little annoying.
