Great start to a solid hotel stay

Days before arriving in London I had asked the hotel for early check in because my flight was landing before dawn. The hotel's reply was that they would do what they could but could make no guarantees, which I found reasonable. When I arrived at the hotel before 7am, David at the front desk said they did not have any twin rooms (which my secretary had booked) but offered me a queen room on the 2nd floor. He was also open enough to say the room could be noisy in the evening because of an event directly below on the 1st floor, but that I could change rooms later in the day. I was desperate for a nap after an overnight flight and took the 2nd floor room. It was clean, spacious and comfortable. I didn't bother changing rooms because, despite the warning, I heard nothing of the event downstairs. In all, I had a very pleasant stay and am very grateful the hotel could accommodate me despite my very early arrival.

Great hotel, with some minor setbacks

The room was well cleaned and stocked with a good variety of towels, toiletries and more.

However, the window was very dirty and had a very limited view of the Citi building and a car park

I did find that some harder to reach areas of the bathroom were not as well cleaned, namely on the side of the sink basin and the pipe underneath the sink.

The TV was great, with a good selection of channels and general hotel, weather and location information readily available.

Staff were helpful, but would recommend an online check-in for a swifter process.

Location is a bit far from Central London, however the DLR and Jubilee Line at Canary Wharf offer easy connections to Central London.

Th gym and steam/sauna were very well cleaned and maintained with dedicated changing rooms for guests.

Hilton Canary Wharf for O2 ATP Finals

The hotel is petfectly placed for the o2. A short walk to the tube and one stop to the venue.
The hotel staff have been excellent, especially Eleonora. The food and the catering staff have been very good. The room is a good size and spotless. The bed is large and very comfortable.
