How to Get There
Stayed here with my husband for one night over the bank holiday. Hotel is conveniently situated a couple of minutes walk from either canary wharf tube station or south quays on the DLR. Staff were attentive and the hotel was really quiet. Breakfast was a mixture of full english, and continental. Will definitely use this hotel when visiting London again
I would highly recommend this hotel. All the staff were fantastic and my husband enjoyed his surprise for his birthdayxx thank you so much we will definitely be recommending this hotel to all our friends and family
I am a returning guest; I stayed for two nights and thoroughly enjoyed my time here. The room was spacious and spotless, staff were super helpful and on hand for any requests. We had the executive lounge access which was lovely. I do suggest booking this option especially if you are staying for more than one night. It won't dissapoint; with food and drinks served from around 3pm. You can help yourself or should you have any specific requirements ask a member of staff.
I'd like to extend a very big thank you to Isfarhan Camball the guest service manager for making us feel so welcome. He is an exceptional member of staff and an asset to Hilton, I can't fault his customer service. He always asks to see if we are comfortable and if we need anything else; making checking in and out a great experience.
Anna Szabo - Executive lounge manager introduced herself when we were in the lounge and extended a warm welcome letting us know she would be on hand if we needed anything. Laura Gozalbo the lounge hostess was pleasant and answered any questions we had regarding food or drinks. There was another member of staff which I can't recall the name of (assuming another lounge hostess) she was pleasant and helpful. Lastly, Mantas was brilliant really liked his polite and professional attitude. I like to give credit to staff that actually make the experience enjoyable and because of this we always recommend the hotel and will always return.
Thank you Hilton!
We (family of four) stayed in two rooms for three nights over the Easter weekend.
First of all, its location is not central but has its advantages - Canary Wharf is of course mainly a business area but is clean and is close to Greenwich and the east end (for visiting say the Olympic park area), the city, as well as having good transport links with the rest of London. The Canary Wharf underground is less than 10 minutes walk away from the hotel. I am sure it is much busier during a normal work week. But even at the weekend a quiet Canary Wharf has a certain appeal.
The hotel itself is fine. The rooms are standard (not a top end say as In Amsterdam or Berlin or probably other Hiltons in central London) but are spacious with comfortable beds and good bathrooms.
The breakfast selection is pretty good. However, one complaint and suggestion about the service at breakfast (which - 2 out of 3 mornings - was disappointing). First, because there did not seem to be enough staff. Second, perhaps training could be improved. On our first morning, we waited an interminable amount of time for coffee and then when I went to see one of the staff to ask for coffee she simply handed over the half-full coffee jug without looking at me or saying anything. The second morning, after asking and not getting coffee again, I went up to another member of staff and was told that he could not help me as he was a trainee. When you brought to the table and ask for coffee, is it not possible to bring it to you immediately, or at least without having to wait and then ask for it a second time? I have to say, however, that the service at breakfast on the third morning was good.
That aside, the staff at reception and at the bar are very pleasant. Furthermore, our contact with the hotel in advance of our stay (regarding a cancellation) was very positive. Top marks to Joseph at the reservations office.
So despite our experience at breakfast during two out of three mornings, I would return.
This hotel is located in Canary Wharf which is a business quarter slightly outside of London's centre. The rooms and suites I have stayed in have all been in perfect condition. However if there is something small that I am unhappy about the staff in this hotel is very helpful and friendly so it always gets resolved. The Executive Lounge spread is consistently nice and the Gin selection (on weekdays) is quite special too. I love coming back here after 4+ stays for leisure.
