Yet another excellent stay
Reviewed 2 days ago

I stayed 5-8 October, 2018, for three nights, for business.

I am a regular guest at the Hilton London Canary Wharf, and I cannot recommend this hotel highly enough.

The close proximity to London City Airport (10 min by taxi, with subway options also available) and relatively cheaply (GBP15-20 by taxi, cheaper by "Tube") is a big draw-card for me, for business travel. Similarly, close proximity to two London Tube stations thus providing access to the entire London subway network, is very convenient.

The spacious executive lounge has an appropriate selection of drinks and treats available. The staff throughout, from check-in/reception, to concierge, to executive lounge mangers, are all fantastic, and highly efficient, friendly, and professional.

The rooms are clean, and I usually try for a Junior Suite, which is wonderfully spacious, and very well appointed, with large windows, and amenities that include a fridge, as well as tea and coffee station. Breakfast is great, both in the downstairs restaurant, as well as in the Executive Lounge.

I look very forward to my next stay at the Hilton London Canary Wharf:

Another fab stay. Well looked after by the staff. Nice comfortable bed, perfect for those extra zzzzzs.

Lounge was well stocked and also nice and relaxing. Breakfast fab as always poached eggs were great (main breakfast dinning area). Hotel is so easy to get to from the centre of London, DLR so quick to South Quay station.

Will continue to repeat on a regular basis.

Great service but hotel now looking tired

I travelled to the hotel by the ferry which runs from Canary Wharf pier every 6/8 mins and works really well. On arrival at 7pm there was one checkin desk open which meant that the queue was quite long. I was served by a friendly member of staff and pointed in the direction of my room which was the other end of the hotel.

The corridors are a maze of twist and turns and the wall paper has taken a battering where bags and trolleys have crashed into them over the years. When I got there my key didnt work nor the replacement so after making two further trips to reception I finally got into my room. The room is quite small but clean.

I went to restaurant and ordered a burger when it arrived I lifted the bun and underneath was perfectly smooth burger. Far from the irregular shapes you get from freshly made burgers. It looked like it came from a tin but tasted like it had previously been frozen. The staff however were great.

If this hotel had a refresh and some of the basic menu choices were improved it would be a great hotel.

I was here for a week long business trip and was very comfortable throughout my stay. The staff was so helpful - especially when I locked my suitcase and forgot the code to open it! They responded so quickly and I appreciated their efficiency. Love this hotel!
