Stopped here for 2 nights and the hotel is very nice very dated but well maintained, its in a quiet location even through its next to thr circular, car park has ample parking and is CCTV monitered. Room are ok dvd player tv and comfy bed. Breakfadt is buffet style and there was always lots about. Just on the outskirts of london. Would certainly stop here again if working in westminster as price is very reasonable

Gutted they are closing Christmas
Reviewed 1 month ago

Stayed here a couple of weeks ago. Have stayed a couple of times before and always had a fantastic time. The rooms are superb and the staff are wonderful. Have stayed in hotels all over the UK and have never had breakfast that could beat Hendon Hall Hotels'. On arrival we spoke to the lovely receptionist, who told us that the hotel is closing it's doors Christmas 2018 and is going to be a care home. I'm gutted, thought I had found a nice hotel for my regular visits to Hendon. If you fancy a few days away between now and Christmas, I highly recommend this place.

Lovely hotel

Spent 4 nights here this week visiting my son who is attending University of Middlesex. Lovely comfortable room, very friendly staff and nice breakfast. Decor a bit tired looking but perfect location.

Okay

4 star hotel and no restaurant for an evening meal. Bar meals served until 8pm and limited menu. We ate in the bar and were the only ones in there initially to be honest atmosphere of a morgue. Bed very uncomfortable. We had paid for two nights and decided to leave after one night to drive a six hour journey home . Overall disappointed as I thought location was more rural. Picture of hotel misleading as I convinced myself it stood in own grounds. However my fault for not reading location description. Very urban and I will not return. We stayed in Hendon to go to RAF museum which was great

Excellent Afternoon Tea
Reviewed 3 months ago

I brought my Nan here for afternoon tea. She has dementia and had had her wedding reception in the same venue so thought it would be nice for her birthday.
They only seem to do afternoon tea on request as not a lot of people ask for it apparently. However, you should partake in this as the view to the garden was stunning and they were able to provide a gluten free tea for me. The portions were overly generous so we got to take a lot of cakes home. The staff were so kind to my Nan who repeated herself a lot and really engaged her in her trip down memory lane.
The hotel is being turned into a home for people with dementia at the end of the year so get down there soon to look at this stunning building!
