nice place

stayed there for my family trip to London. the location is great - close to tube station which could reach Heathrow airport without the need of changing lines. Supermarket is next to tube station and there are a few eating places as well.

the room was good. we stayed at one room apartment. the sofa bed in living room is quite oK for one adult.

Simple breakfast to stat a day.

the only minor issue (otherwise it will be 5 stars) is the washing machine/dryer in the room. the operation manual seems for another model and drying function does not work properly.

good place for a family trip

Great location, lovely room

Stayed here over the weekend and was very impressed. Our room was huge, complete with a little kitchen, en-suite and plenty of storage space. Great location just a couple of minutes from Gloucester Road tube station meaning you could be central London in around 15mins. Hotel was modern, nicely decorated and not too expensive. Would highly recommend!

great hotel. I ticked all the qualities-location, staff, rooms

Good location, excellent hotel - nothing to complain about!!

We stayed here based on a recommendation of a friend. It is 2 blocks from an Underground station - which also takes you directly to Heathrow. The room was very nice, comfy bed, wonderful tiny kitchen area with microwave, stove top, refrigerator, toaster and sink. Bathroom large and well appointed. Close to History Museum, nice restaurants - busy and fun area in the evening as well. Highly recommend.

Blood on the 'fresh' bedding
Reviewed 1 week ago

Me and my partner stayed in this hotel for the weekend while we took a visit to London to get some Christmas shopping done. Upon arrival we checked in and had to find our way to our room ourselves, clueless (when it seemed like everyone else arriving got escorted and bags carried for them). When we got to our room it didn't seem to look like the pictures we were expecting it to look like it seemed quite small. Once we had unpacked and showered (in the worst showers ever - it felt like light rain and the 'hottest' temperature was warm) we pulled our bedding across to take a nap after the long journey and notice red splodges of blood dotted around the sheet under the duvet. My partner immediately stormed down to reception and made a complaint in which they said they would come and check because they didn't believe us. The main cleaner came up and quickly changed the sheets with an apology and said that the previous cleaner in this room had cut her finger (..well then if she's a cleaner why didn't she clean it up??) but I don't believe that. After this that was it.. nothing additional offered such as breakfast or compensation for the inconvenience just a change of sheet and that was it. Finally, on our first night I struggled to sleep due to creaks above - you can hear every footstep from the room above and unluckily for us, this was going on until 1:30am. I feel as though some of the staff came across as quite rude, no smiles or expressions which was slightly daunting. Considering this is a 4 star hotel it is not as what I expected, regardless of the blood on the sheets this hotel just didn't have the appeal that is advertised. The only reason I would recommend this hotel was because of the location. Other than that I wouldn't.
