How to Get There
I’d been staying at Four Season hotel in other counties but this London at Park Lane take guest recognition to the next level. It is not how the magnificent hotel building that matter, but the service & hospitality is over-the-top, far beyond expectations!
Special thanks to the concierge and housekeeping team who make my stays such a memorable experience. I’d been travelled more than 40 countries and you guys just the best among those luxury properties i’d encountered.
I requested the concierge assist with dining reservation at Alain Ducasse. Soon after I received a beautifully printed card in my room as confirmation. On the actual dining day, I was greeted by the concierge just the moment I stepped out from the hotel lift lobby preparing to go out, and then being offered to take their hotel complimentary house car (Rolls Royce) to the restaurant. What a sweet touch!
Another incident when I was having some trouble with my air ticket. The moment I was approaching the concierge counter for help, another staff at the counter already rang the particular airline within few seconds and having the phone ready for me to take over. This is truly “proactive”!
Try their spa if you have time and you’ll never regret. It was so relaxing and ended with a stunning night view to my surprise.
I am writing this review after contacting the Management at Four Seasons Park Lane, and they have been completely in accommodating. I booked 2 rooms for a 2 night stay celebrating a dear friends’ 50th birthday. I booked via Kayak which then sent me to a subsidiary “Amoma”. I paid 3500 US dollars for the rooms. I confirmed my booking while in Amsterdam the night prior to my departure to London. They told me that the room is prepaid and the only thing we would be responsible for is incidentals. I was called away for a family emergency the following day but the two friends I was with, went ahead to London and stayed in one of the two rooms at the four seasons. I was shocked and horrified to find that they went ahead and CHARGED my friends for their room AND my credit card had also been charged or the room!!! When I followed up with the managers at The Four Seasons Park Lane, Daniela and Jonas, they told me the hotel had never received the payment from the travel sight ( when they had confirmed the opposite the night prior), and the rooms had been cancelled. Yet my friends went and stayed in the room under my reservation?! Wasn’t this is a contract between them and that online travel site? It is completely unfair and irresponsible of such a large hotel entity to hold the customer responsible for a travel site closing, when they have not only charged a credit card, but you have also confirmed that payment has been made.
I am a surgeon and a travel enthusiast and have stayed in dozens of Four Seasons properties and I am appalled by their response, and needless to say I will not be frequenting a Four Seasons again if this is their customer service. I wanted to make sure they don’t do this to anyone else, buyer be weary!!!
Frequent visitor to FS Park Lane, both for business and leisure. This time we were on a brief holiday trip including several family members. Hotel staff was outstanding in seeing to a variety of needs for our family, above and beyond service level. Very grateful for the many courtesies
